Autumn Days are Near

Hello Stamping Friends,

Time for another great blog hop with the Stampers Dozen group. This month we are sharing ideas for those autumn days that are near. I enjoy this upcoming season with the changing leaves, pumpkins, gourds, hayrides, and warm, apple cider donuts from the local farm, but I dread it because I know the long winter will soon follow. Anyone else feel that way? If only winter lasted about a month or two, perhaps then I would be happy.

I decided to stick to a nice warm drink for a fall day. Nothing says autumn like holding a warm drink while enjoying the brisk outdoors to me. So using the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper and the Press On Stamp Set was the perfect combination for this card.

The Gilded Autumn Paper is beautiful metallic paper for all your fall projects but if you turn it over the other side doesn't have any metallic and that's what I decided I needed for a cup of Joe, hot chocolate, or warm apple cider. You get to decide what it inside.

There are some other great projects on this month's hop that you do not want to miss. Click on the links below to keep hopping.

Time to Say Thank You

Hello Stamping Friends,

This week with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing thank you cards. We all have so much to be thankful for to others around us, especially first responders during the past few months. So much is going on in the world and they constantly put their lives on the line to protect ours. I don't have any particular stamps that I thought would be geared to just first responders, but I think they would even appreciate this simple card with just a mere thank you on it. So, next time you are out and about take a thank you card with you and pass it along to any first responder you encounter on your travels. I bet you will make their day with this unexpected kind gesture.

I used the 2020-2022 In-Colors 6"x6" designer series paper for my card. The one and only stamp I used on this card says it all.

This card is so super, quick and easy to make you can make a stack of them to keep with you to pass out. I added the greeting to the card using dimensionals. The rest is attached paper to paper. I really love how this turned out. It took me about ten minutes to make. Now that is quick.

Just think if you change the designer series paper, you can have a totally different looking card that is just as easy to make.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more thank you card ideas.

Also, don't forget the awesome deal happening right now. The best value from Stampin' Up! $99 for over $225 in product. Ask me how to get this today.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Remember to Create!

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to another awesome blog hop with the Stampers Dozen. We are ready to celebrate the man, the myth, the legend. You know, the dads in our lives. Next weekend is their special day and we are ready to share with you some great projects that you can recreate this week just in time to give it to the special dad in your life.

Nothing says dads day like a man relaxing in a chair with his hat tipped over his eyes while he takes a little siesta. This stamp is perfect and the sentiment tells the perfect story: it's your day, you can relax and enjoy it your way.

For this card, I made it in to a gift card holder. Notice in the picture above that there is a half circle cut out in the folded part. That's where you can tuck the gift card to dad's favorite restaurant, store, or recreational activity while he is reminded that he can relax his way.

Remember to keep hopping and be sure to make the man, the myth, the legend in your life that special card or project for Father's Day next week.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.
