And now for the project I promised you. A beautiful "LOVE" banner. It is the month of love and who can't use a little more love each and every day?

I love banners because they easily change the look of an entire room. Just hang it up and you're good to go. I used the now retired canvas banner pieces to make this kit. I actually do a banner class each and every month using these pieces so you can have a collection for every holiday or occasion.

Just a close up of the heart on the banner. Each of the small red hearts were embossed with a different folder. Great way to add some texture and variation to your banner pieces.  Yes, I punched each one of those little circles around the large scallop heart. It may have been tedious but the end result looks great.

Stamping Supplies Used:
Stamps: None

Ink: Real Red

Paper: Very Vanilla, Basic Black  Read Red Cardstock

Accessories: Big Shot, Framelits, Stamping Sponge, 1/16" hold punch, snail adhesive, banner kit (now retired), alphabet set for big shot, argyle embossing folder, perfect dots embossing folder, chevron embossing folder, and stripes embossing folder.

My Digital Studio to the Rescue

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Weekend to you.  We have a super crazy busy weekend in store for us here at the Yurkanin household. It's filled with stamping, soccer, volleyball, hockey, and parties. How's that sound for fun filled? I'm tired just typing all about what's going to happen.

Anyway, this week with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing scrapbook pages with you. I decided to make a digital page using My Digital Studio. When you are short on time and can't pull out all your fun stamping/scrapping supplies, it's definitely My Digital Studio to the rescue. It's quick, easy, and mess free. All you need is your computer. Plus it's great if you haven't printed all your pictures. Yes, I'm way, way behind on printing pictures thanks to all the digital storage on my computer. It is a goal of mine to get those all printed this coming year so I can do more traditional scrapbooking.

Here's a quick page announcing the up and coming, young soccer star. Yes, that's my boy! He's so darn cute but very serious when he's playing. I like this layout because it looks like it's on a newspaper page, like an announcement of a great new player that was just found. Big news! Plus it was a layout that was already started and I deleted some things and added some other things to make it my own.

My sister-in-law is a professional photographer and her son played on Jonah's team, so we got some awesome shots of Jonah on the field. (Huge shout out to Danielle, thanks!) Score for us parents.

If you haven't checked out My Digital Studio yet, go download the free trial to give it a try for yourself. Download it on your laptop and you can scrapbook on the go, anytime, anywhere. All your "supplies" are at your fingertips.

Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping for more scrapbooking ideas.  Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon.

Terrific Tuesday's Weekly Sale

Hello Stamping Friends,

We have another weekly sale for you. These are some great items at a 25% discount off of regular retail price. These items are available at the discounted price until Monday, November 4. So if you need (aka want) any of these items please place your order online or contact me to order it for you.

A Little MDS Friday

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday posting with the Sisters in Stamping.  This week we are sharing with you some pages made using My Digital Studio.  Do you want to scrapbook quickly and easily? Then this program is for you. And now it's better than ever at a newly discounted price and now through June 15 many downloads and printed products are on sale.

My page uses some designer papers and punches. That's all. It came together so fast, I loved it. The most recent big event we had here in our house was Noah turning 16. Simply CAN NOT believe my baby boy is 16, has a driving learner's permit, and is turning into a fine young man. How did it happen? I still think he should be that fun-loving, easy-going little boy but instead he is that fun-loving, easy-going young man. We are so proud of him and all that he accomplishes. Just this week he was inducted into the National Honor Society at school. Way to go, Noah!

So anyway, that's why I did this page. To show you who this 16 year old young man is. Isn't he handsome? And no I'm not biased at all, right?

This page came together nicely. I used the colors from his cake, which my sister made for him. It's a replica of his new skateboard. See the picture in the top right corner. She did a great job, didn't she?

Here's what I used in My Digital Studio:
Paper: Basic Black Cardstock, First Edition Paper & Houndstooth

Punches: Arrows, Top Note and Numbers

Head over to Sisters in Stamping to see some more digital scrapbooking.

Ready to Scrap?

Hello Stamping Friends,

Time for another fabulous Friday post at Sisters in Stamping.  I can't believe it's Friday again.  The weeks are just flying by.  I have been busy keeping up with business and the kid's school activities that I just don't know where the time ends up going.  I do hope you are enjoying the regular postings here on the blog. I sure hope to continue to be able to keep up with it.

This week at Sisters in Stamping we are sharing back to school scrapbook pages with all of you. I decided to pull out the MDS (My Digital Studio) for you.  Well, you got me, it wasn't that difficult to pull it out since it's right on my computer.  I even made it easier to complete this page by using the To the Nines Digital Template.  The layout and colors were already done for me. Isn't that just the coolest thing ever?  I do think I will be purchasing more of these awesome little templates for MDS.

However, I did enhance this page with my own journaling, added the journey definition stamp from the by definition brush set and added the numbers 1-0 over the circles that showed 2010 to cover up that year since it is 2012.  Funny thing, looking at the pictures of the boys now on the page makes me giggle. Jonah looks like a giant and Noah looks kind of little (and he's 7 years older than Jonah).  Guess that's what happens when there's 2 hours between school photos. Can't remember how close or far to go. LOL

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more back to school scrapbook ideas. They aren't all digital either.  Remember the cool thing about digital is that you can create it on the computer to your liking and then if you are a tradionalist you can recreate it with paper.  You can try MDS free for 30 days, head over to my website for more information on that.

Don't forget there are only 2 days left of the Spooktacular Howl-o-ween special for joining the Stampin' Up family and my team.  Hurry up, head over to my website to CLICK JOIN NOW and get $185 worth of products for only $99.
