Last Sale-a-bration Hurrah

Another Sunday is another post with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are sharing one last hurrah for Sale-a-bration!!!

I have been loving so many of the Sale-a-bration offerings, but I think the Daffodil Afternoon 12 x 12 designer series paper has been my favorite. It's so easy to create beautiful cards simply using this paper. For most patterns, all you need to do it add a greeting and then you have a perfect card with minimal effort.

This card is a perfect example of that. A couple of layers, a punched greeting that is layered, a few gems, and a simple strip of ribbon. That's it. A card that literally comes together in mere minutes, but looks beautiful. It's  a perfect solution for a crafter that doesn't have a lot of time.

Remember Sale-a-bration ends tomorrow. So place your order today to get this pack of paper (or any other offerings) for FREE>

You can get the Daffodil Afternoon designer paper for FREE with your $50 order until the end of this month. When you order $50 or more you will also receive a FREE PDF of over 30 projects with instructions. CLICK HERE to order today.  Use this HOST CODE to order.

Share it Sunday with Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

Share it Sunday with Crafty Collaborations is here. Once a month we hop and share any project we have made with each other and you. Be sure to scroll down to keep the inspiration coming by clicking on all the links provided.

I absolutely love the way this card turned out. I don't think I could change anything to make me love it even more than I already do. It was such a fun card to make, and it seriously made me smile the whole time.

I know, you're asking how I made donuts. Not my idea, but I used the record to make the donuts. Isn't that such a clever idea? You stamp the record in a neutral color and then in any color you want  your icing to be. Cut out both pieces, but the "icing" layer should be cut smaller with curvy edges to make it look more like icing. Layer both of them together and viola! you have a beautiful donut.

I also added some "sprinkles" around the arounds in the colors of the icing which just adds to the fun of the card. It's a great card to give to celebrate a friend or family member. The greeting says "Let's celebrate you" so it can be for any occasion at all.

Remember to keep hopping. You won't want to miss any of these ideas.

Punches, Punches, Punches

It's Sunday and that means a post with the Sisters in Stamping. This week's Sunday Fun Day theme is punches. There are so many incredible things you can do with punches. They are a great tool to have in your crafting supply stash.

I used the new ladybug punch in a different way than intended. It can be a bee. Isn't that the coolest? There are several other things you can make. Leave me a comment to let me know what else you think can be made from the ladybug punch?

I punched the body in black and daffodil delight. Then cut the daffodil delight into small strips and glued to the black body to make it look like a bee. I then cut the wings from vellum cardstock. But I scored a piece of vellum and folded it about a 1/4" so I could tuck it behind the top yellow stripe. That way you don't see any adhesive.

The little "Hello" is from the Ladybug stamp set.

I used the Daffodil Afternoon Sale-a-bration paper for the background of this card. Yep, all three pieces of paper are in that pack. It's a great pack of paper and you will get it FREE when you order $50 worth of product from me.

Don't forget to head on over to Sisters in Stamping for more punch ideas.

Remember if you order today you can get the paper pack that I used on this card for FREE with a $50 order. Use this LINK to place your order. Also, with your $50 order I will send you a FREE PDF containing over 30 projects and instructions as a thank you.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

Home Décor Blog Hop with Crafty Collaborators

Time for another great blog hop with Crafty Collaborations. This one is all about home decor. The projects are so inspiring so be sure to hop through each one to see it.

At first glace you may say, "Rachel, great project but it's a Valentine's Day project and that was a few days ago." Well, I would like to disagree. It's not just for Valentine's Day. It would be a great project to place in a nursery or a little girl's bedroom where you would always want them to know they are loved and hugs are waiting for them. The colors are red, pink, and white, so it can be used for multiple different things.

It's such a soft, sweet piece of décor. It will add so much love and light to any room.

It is a 12x12 piece of cardstock that you can slip into a 12x12 frame. It can be hung or as I have it just sitting on a table or dresser. As I always say, the layering makes a differece.  I layered three squares of cardstock before I even started decorating.

Remember the heart hanging piece I made specifically for Valentine's Day (Click here if you missed it) and I said wait until you see the other project I made using the leftover pieces of the hearts I used on that? Well, here it is. I cut each negative into a 4 1/4" square to use on this project. I love the embossing on it. It adds so much detail and texture.

I used a white piece of cardstock that is cut at 3 3/4" behind each negative and then filled the center of each heart with two smaller hearts and each heart holds one letter.

I then finished each square off with a few little shiny gems. It was the perfect finishing touch and doesn't take too much away from the overall project.

I also stamped x's & o's on each of the pink hearts. One can never have too many hugs and kisses.  Each 4 1/4" square is layered onto a 4 3/4" square.

Remember to keep hopping to be inspired by more great home décor projects.
