Let's Hear it for the Boys

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are all well today. Here in the Yurkanin house we are battling something (well, Jonah and I are). I'm off to the doctor's with him for a second time this week. On Monday, they said he just had a cold. Well, it's now Friday and he's no better, so off we go.

But before I leave, I wanted to get this post out to you for this week's Fabulous Friday posting with the Sisters in Stamping. We decided on Masculine cards for this week. We all have great guys in our lives but often times we are left struggling while creating a great masculine card when we need them, right?  So hopefully, this week's cards will inspire you to go make a card for that special guy in your life.

This card I made for one of my Leadership swaps and used it in January's birthday card stamp a stash. It's a really quick and easy card to make for any "classic" guy. A quick run through the big shot, some crinkled paper, a couple of stamps and a blendabilities marker. That's about all there was to this one. Great card to make multiples of if you are making boxes filled with cards for gifts.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more masculine card ideas.

Also, don't forget there is still one full month left to Sale-a-bration, so book your party now to get together with your friends, stamp and earn FREE Stampin' Up! goodies. That's FREE goodies to everyone. Ask me how!

Or, get the best deal yet, for $99 you can select $125 in product and any 2 Sale-a-bration items OR $125 in product and one stampin' kit found in the Occasions catalog. What are you waiting for, this is the best deal yet!

I'll be back later to post all the products I used to make this. Just running out of time before I need to run out the door to the doctor's appointment.

Celebrate With Me

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm so excited to be sharing with you my celebration. Today, is  my Stampin' Up! anniversary. That's right, a mere 14 years ago, I joined the Stampin' Up! family (just for the discount, mind you). I honestly thought within a year I would give it up because I would have all that I wanted and wouldn't NEED anything else. Well, obviously, that didn't happen. I've met so many wonderful people from across the country all because of it. My life is enriched so much more because of my experiences as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

I have wonderful new friends, both customers and demonstrators. I get to travel the country, sometimes even for absolutely FREE. I always learn the latest and greatest stamping techniques that I get to share with you. I have the opportunity to preorder new products before the general public (and that's always fun). Often, I get FREE new products. I earn a some extra income for my family, which I always call our "fun" money. I've achieved numerous different awards that Stampin' Up! has offered. All of this because of some stamps, ink and paper.

Fourteen years ago I never in my wildest dreams would have thought Stampin' Up! had the ability to change my life in the way that it did, but I am so grateful I took the chance. Just think, if I never took the bait, I wouldn't have met you. (insert sad face)

To help me celebrate this milestone, I am offering a special to you as a thank you for keeping me around all these years.

Place an order today, Saturday or Sunday to take advantage of this deal.

For any order $50 you will receive FREE SHIPPING (plus don't forget it's Sale-a-bration so you will get a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration brochure)

For an order over $100 you will receive a 15% discount (and 2 Sale-a-bration items)

For an order over $150 you will receive a 20% discount (and 3 Sale-a-bration items plus hostess benefits) (BEST DEAL)

However, if you want to enrich your life even more, consider becoming a demonstrator today. Whether you just want the discount on great products, to earn a little extra income, travel the country going to different Stampin' Up! events, or make a business from this papercrafting hobby, you won't be sorry you joined my team.

We have fun demo gatherings each and every month that you would be able to be a part of. You would get a discount every time you placed an order. You can preorder new products before anyone else. You're life will be changed for the better. I promise you. It's a great thing.

All of that for only $99. Plus for that $99 you can select $125 in merchandise (anything you want) and either 2 FREE Sale-a-bration items or any kit you find in the Occasions catalog for FREE. That's a lot of goodies for $99 (plus tax) Even a sweeter deal than my offer if you purchase $150. Have questions, let me know. I'd love to share with you this wonderful experience.

Again, thank you for being a wonderful part of my Stampin' Up! journey. Can't wait to see what the next 14 years bring in this adventure.

Love

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Friday the 13th to you. On this day before Valentine's Day, we, at the Sisters in Stamping blog, are sharing with you some great last minute Valentine's cards and treats. So, if you are a last minute Nellie (like myself) you came to the right place for some great ideas.

This card is pretty simple but really gives a lot of punch for a pretty, elegant card that is great not just for Valentine's Day. This would be good for a wedding card, an anniversary card or just a card to say, I love you.

I used the Groovy Love stamp set and the awesome Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Pack. Basic gray, pink pirourette and basic black make a pretty card.  I love the large polka dot embossed white piece. There is a heart punched out of the black designer paper so you can see some of the dots through that too.  I used the pink pirourette blendabilities to color the basic pearls.

Don't forget to visit Sisters in Stamping for more Valentine's ideas.

Love Me Some Big Shot

Hello Stamping Friends,

Brrr, baby it's cold outside! For those of you here in Northeast PA (NEPA) you already know that. I am okay with the two hour delay from school because of it though. It's nice to get up and relax a little bit before you have to run out the door for school. Plus, it still counts as a school day towards the 180 we need so that's a good thing. Try to stay warm. Bundle up if you're heading out. (That's my public service announcement for you)

It's Friday again and you all know what that means: Fabulous Friday with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are sharing with you some projects made using new Big Shot items from the Occasions Catalog. And there's plenty of them for you. I think we can do this challenge a few weeks in a row without duplicating. I seriously don't know how I ever crafted without my Big Shot. I love, love, love it!

I decided to use the Thinlits treat bag and some framelits and the Hello You Thinlits. Yep, I couldn't just pick one to show you. Besides, look how well they all go together to make this adorable little birthday gift/treat bag! I have to say, I think this is one of the best seasonal catalogs we've had in awhile. I love so many of the products in it (What? You still don't have your own copy of it? Let me know and I'll get one to you)

Wouldn't you love to receive a little birthday gift  in this bag? Or give this to someone with a gift inside and watch their face be pleasantly surprised before even opening the contents just because of this adorable little gift bag?

I'll be doing a class on different ways to use this die (aka different things to make, not just a bag) soon so watch your calendar. You're not going to want to miss this one.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more great ideas using new big shot items from the Occasions Catalog.
