Crafty Challenge Blog Hop with Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

Back for another round of sharing some stamping with all of you. Today's challenge was to share the new in-colors which wasn't much of a challenge because they are fantastic and easy to use to make great projects.

Here is a picture you may have seen before. Stampin' Up! shared this picture with us as they gave us hints of the new colors. It's such a pretty picture that shows the in-colors perfectly so I had to share it again.

I made a thank you card using the Happiness Abounds stamp set. This large flower allowed me to color using the coordinating Stampin' Blends. I used a lot of in-color products on this card: cardstock, ink, accessories, and Stampin' Blends. This is the Tahitian Tide color.

It may not be easy to see in the picture, but I used the Timeworn type 3D embossing folder on the background piece of white cardstock to add some texture.  The flower is also attached with dimensionals, but I'm pretty sure my regulars knew that already.

This collage shows you the same card in each of the four other in-colors. They are so bright and cheery when used all together too.  And by using different colors you can send specific colors based on the recipients likes. That's just a bonus.

Share it Sunday with Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

I know I haven't posted as much in the past few weeks, and I apologize for that. But, my son is graduating on Friday and we have has a lot of activities to attend to for his big year. He's my youngest so I don't want to miss anything. I hope you understand.

Today, I'm dropping in to participate in a blog hop with Crafty Collaborations: Share it Sunday. Remember to keep scrolling so you can get to the links and keep hopping to see some great projects.

This card is bright and cheerful using two of the new in-colors for 2022-2024. The Pretty Peacock and Thahitian Tide colors will be used often in my stamping over the next two years. I love them.  I paired them with Night of Navy as my neutral.

I wanted to use the awesome new tea set in a unique way without using any teacups. I love how it turned out. I just stamped the large leaf randomly in both colors all over the white cardstock and filled in with a smaller leaf.

If you place a $50 order this month, I will send you a PDF tutorial with over 30 projects with complete directions. This card is just one of the projects included.

Family Blog Hop - Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are having a glorious start to your week. We are in for some nasty thunderstorms this afternoon in NEPA, but that's okay because the weekend was so beautiful. We were able to get outside and enjoy the fresh air while getting some work done.

Today I'm participating in a blog  hop that's all about family. What does the word family resonate with you?

I decided to take a bit of an untraditional kind of route with my project to show family. This time of year, we find nests in our shrubs filled with tiny eggs waiting to hatch. One year, I took a picture each day to show how fast these little birds grow. It is quite amazing how soon after hatching they become independent and start to fly from the nest.

So here on my card, I have a sweet little bird sitting on her nest waiting for those little eggs to be ready to hatch.  I made the tree by stamping the tree branch from the set several times in different directions.  Then I used the stacked stone background to make it look like the tree was coming up from behind the wall. The nest and bird are actually covering the messy overlapping of branches. Remember, there's no mistakes in stamping, only room for embellishments. (wink, wink)

With the greeting saying "it's your special day" this card can be given for a variety of occasions.

Don't forget to keep hopping.  Thanks  for stopping by. See you soon.

New Catalog Blog Hop with Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

Have you been browsing the catalog and making your lists? Did you order from the new catalog yet? I can't wait to get my new crafting supplies. Today's blog hop is focused on the new catalog so you won't want to miss out on a bunch of great new ideas.

I made this card using neutral colors. Not something that I often do, but I am thrilled with how it turned out. I left the greeting off in order for it to be able to be used for any occasion.

I stamped the "greens" in three different browns: crumb cake, soft suede, and early espresso. The bottle was stamped in old olive and then punch out and attached using dimensionals. The large white cardstock was embossed to give a little bit of texture to the card.

You can head to my website to order these products or any other Stampin' Up! products you may "NEED."

A Little Sneak at the New Catalog

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are having a fine Sunday. Weather here in Pennsylvania is finally spring-like and I'm enjoying it. I just hope it's here to stay finally. Today with the Sisters in Stamping we are giving you a little sneak peek at the new catalog that goes live and you are able to order from in just three short days. Make your wishlist and get ready for Wednesday. You can be among the first to get new "toys."

As demonstrators we get to preorder some of the new things before anyone else can purchase them. This card was made with several new things from the soon-to-be released 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. If you didn't receive your copy, let me know and I can get one to you.

I think the one that I was most excited about from the preorder was the dots die. It cuts out a whole card front of polka dots. You know me and my polka dots.  You can do so much with this die. I have more ideas that I will be sharing with you so keep watching. I will be using the die a lot. I placed a piece of cardstock behind the white layer to show blue polka dots.

The teacup set is so cute. I love how fun this card turned out with the large circles as a background behind the cup. This is definitely a fun card to send to a friend you haven't seen in a bit and you want to let them know you miss them.

I hope you like this card. Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for even more sneak peeks at what's to come.
