Share it Sunday with Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

I know I haven't posted as much in the past few weeks, and I apologize for that. But, my son is graduating on Friday and we have has a lot of activities to attend to for his big year. He's my youngest so I don't want to miss anything. I hope you understand.

This card is bright and cheerful using two of the new in-colors for 2022-2024. The Pretty Peacock and Thahitian Tide colors will be used often in my stamping over the next two years. I love them.  I paired them with Night of Navy as my neutral.

I wanted to use the awesome new tea set in a unique way without using any teacups. I love how it turned out. I just stamped the large leaf randomly in both colors all over the white cardstock and filled in with a smaller leaf.

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring weekend. After this week's snow (5" at my house), I am more than ready to enjoy a warm 70 degree day. I used the Artistically Inked stamp set. It's not retiring and I'm so happy with that. I love this set. It's beautiful and so easy to make pretty cards.

I stamped some images directly on the Basic white layer to make it look like a collage. Then I stamped a few pieces on scrap paper, cut them out, and added them with dimensionals to make them pop.

Share it Sunday Blog Hop - Crafty Collaborations

I used the timeless tulips set to make a sweet little hello card to send to a friend. If you can't send real flowers, then a nice bunch of paper flowers would certainly be welcomed. They are so cheerful.

There are two tulips stamped directly on the white cardstock and then the front three are stamped on scrap paper, punched out and attached with dimensionals.  The stems and two leaves are stamped on the white layer and then two of the leaves are on scrap paper and punched out.

When I saw the new catalog, I just knew I had to have the adorable little turtle set. I wasn't sure what I would make with it, but I knew it would be fun to create with. So, first order of the new catalog year, I got it. I even used it to make some swaps cards for other demonstrators and fell in love with the card I made (which is the card I'm sharing here).

Isn't it a great card? Bright and cheerful. Who wouldn't love to receive this birthday card? And it's an easy card to make. There isn't a ton of hard work to make this card. It's all about the layering: the cardstock and then the stamped shapes. The layers of stamped shapes really give the card a lot of "texture" to bring it all together. The turtle is stamped and then punched out. Can't get much easier than that.

Now that I think about it. I think this would be a great thank you card too. I think I need to make some of those.

I simply can't help myself. I love ice cream and the ice cream sets just call my name so I can create with them often.  This card is just so fun. I love the multi-colored sprinkles (or do  you call them "jimmies"). 

I know the card looks like there's a lot going on, but honestly there is very little stamping so it goes quickly. It's all about the layers. I think I like layers as much as ice cream. (LOL)  

The cone is actually cut from the designer series paper. Hurry to get that, it will be gone soon; not the ice cream set though.
