Returning Colors Stampers Dozen Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Time for another great blog hop with the Stampers Dozen group. This month we are sharing projects made using the seven returning colors. Which one are you the happiest about coming back? Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Fresh Fresia, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Pretty Peacock, or Blueberry Bushel?

I used the Cheerful Daisy stamp set for my card. The returning colors I used were Berry Burst, Fresh Fresia, and Lemon Lime Twist.

I first stamped with Fresh Freesia for the inside of the flower. The outline and centers are stamped in Berry Burst. Of course, the leaves are lemon lime twist. I used Memento Black to offset the colors and make the greeting stand out.

This card can easily be duplicated using your favorite colors. Imagine a set of cards for a gift with each card in a different color. Such a fun gift.

Don't forget to keep hopping by clicking on the links below. You don't want to miss out on even one project.

Thanks for stopping by. If you haven't received your copy of the catalog yet, message me and I can get one to you.

Fancy Fold Card with Sisters in Stamping

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's Sunday and that means another Sunday Fun Day with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are focusing on fancy fold cards. I used one of my favorite folds but switched it up just a wee bit.

I used the Zoo crew designer series paper for the focus of my card. It is such a fun pack of paper that you really can use to make some great cards without using stamps. I cut out three different animals. Since every animal is on a mode of transportation with wheels, I made my banners look like roads.

Here's a view of the card semi open and you can see the inside. I used a small strip of the designer paper to bring the outside of the card inside and make it complete. I also used a greeting from the Little Monkey stamp set.

So, you want to know what my favorite fancy fold is? It's the z-fold card. But this time I used a full quarter sheet of cardstock to give the illusion that it's just a regular card. but as you can see it's not just your regular fold open card after all.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping to see what other fancy folds are being shared today.
