Warm Wishes

Hello Stamping Friends,

I still posting. That's a good thing, right?  I just needed to figure out this whole time management thing while working full time. That has taken me awhile but I think I got it now. I hope you have been enjoying hearing from more often. Okay, I really hope you have been inspired by the projects I've shared too. I know I enjoyed creating them and shouldn't keep that all to myself.

First, I want to say thank you to everyone who placed an order on Monday during the FREE shipping sale. It was a great day because of all of you. I hope you enjoy your new "toys." Let the happy creating begin.

This card is a card that can be used for Christmas, a winter thank you, winter birthday, or a just because kind of card. Notice I didn't put any greeting on the front. That leaves it open for just about anything you may need a card for during the cold, winter months.

I love the black and white look with a pop of color. I used the Lemon Lime Twist color for this card (no surprise there for anyone that knows me). It doesn't take much of the colored cardstock, just a 2 1/2" circle of it. I used the In-color Markers to color in the sweater after I stamped it in black.

I used just a quarter of the foil snowflake behind the sweater. That's right, you can get four cards out of one little snowflake. Also, I cut the designer paper into squares and then cut them in half to make 2 triangles from each one. So there are quite a few layers on this card, but you don't have to use a ton of supplies to achieve a great layered look. Plus, the card isn't too heavy with small pieces for layers.

I love how the embossed snowflake coordinates beautifully with the snowflake on the sweater. It really brings the entire card together.

Thanks for stopping by.  See you soon,

It's Beginning to look like Christmas

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm on a roll. I am really trying to connect with each of you more often here on the blog and so far this week I'm off to a great start. I'm letting it become a habit, you know, something I do everyday. It's so easy to fall away when you miss a regular schedule day but now that I'm back on track, I really want to stay here with you.

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you. The Seasonal Chums is a great set that has a front and back to the stamp that makes great tags or fun cards. For this I card I made a window so you can use both sides of the snowman. It's always fun to bring the outside of the card inside.

I also stamped the tree and greeting just inside the window (on the inside of the card) so you can see them when the card is closed. After cutting the window out with the square framelits, I embossed the emerald envy cardstock with the holly berry folder. Before placing the emerald envy cardstock on the card base, I attached the window sheet. You want to hid the edges of the window sheet between the two pieces of cardstock so it looks complete and finished.  I also used a little of the embossing paste on the bottom of the snowman to look like snow. The snowman is attached with my favorite: dimensionals.

Here's the inside of the card. Isn't it cute to see the "back" side of the snowman. To attach on the inside, I used regular adhesive because I didn't want it to be too bulky if I used dimensionals.

Did you make your Christmas cards yet? There's still time. I can help you with a layout and ideas if you need suggestions. Just let me know.

Online extravaganza is underway. Don't forget to check out the savings. The end November 26, 2017

Online Extravaganza and a Little Card for You

Hello Stamping Freinds,

I'm so excited. Today is the day that we have been waiting for. It's the beginning of Online Extravaganza. That means savings from 10-50% off select items. There are select stamp sets at 20% off today, November 20th, only. Don't miss this sale.

CLICK HERE to see the complete flyer for the sale.

And here's a quick little stamping treat for you.

This was a unique fold card that I made recently at a few workshops. It was quick and pretty easy with minimal stamping. The only stamping is the little swirls around the oval and the word celebrate. The girl and cupcakes were cut out from designer series paper. The other crumb cake paper is also from the designer series paper. I think the hardest part of the card is cutting out all the pieces.

Delightful Daisy Thank You

Hello Stamping Friends,

I know this is crazy, but I'm posting for the fourth time this week. I'm back on track. Life has been a bit hectic here these last few months and I'm sorry I wasn't able to post more, but hopefully this is the new trend and you will be seeing and hearing more from me on a regular basis. I missed posting.

It's Friday and you know that means a post with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are using a theme of "thankful." We all have so much in our lives to be thankful for, why don't you take a time out to write a thank you note to a friend or loved one telling them how much they mean to you. Doesn't have to be a thank you card for just receiving a gift.

This card uses the ever popular, Delightful Daisy stamp set. It's a bit of a unique fold design. I made a regular sized card into a pocket card. All I did was score the front edge at 1 1/4"  and fold it down. The sides are attached closed using some fast fuse. It is such a fun, easy card to make when you want to make a card but make it a little different than you usually do.

Here's the insert of the card. Some pretty flowers as the background. You can choose to either write on the back side of the card or use a dark, preferably black, felt tip pen to write over the stamped flowers.

Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping to see more projects using this great thankful theme.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

With the launch of this tool, we’re trying something different: testing a new reservation system. It acts like a true preorder: you reserve your spot and we guarantee shipment as soon as the product arrives in our warehouse. Demonstrators and customers will place reservations and receive their product at the same time. This system will allow us to get the product to market as soon as possible while avoiding backorders and efficiently managing inventory.

The global launch will feature three reservation windows. For each window, please note the following:
  • Reservation quantities are while supplies last.
  • Limit is 3 tools per demonstrator (talk about a good time to join my team) and 1 tool per customer per reservation window.
  • Customers may participate in multiple reservation windows.
  • In order to reserve your Stamparatus, you are required to provide your credit card information.
  • Credit cards will not be charged until the Stamparatus ships from our facility. When you close your order, be sure to verify that your credit card and shipping information is correct.

You will not be billed for the tool until the item arrives and ships from Stampin' Up! warehouse.

I believe there will be a link on my online store where you can reserve your stamparatus.  You must have a Stampin' Up! online account and make sure to have me as your demonstrator in your profile.

We are all learning because this is a brand new way of rolling out this amazing new product.  That's how exciting this product is!

Q & A for the Stamparatus

Q: How did we come up with the name Stamparatus?
A: We landed on an innovative name by combining two words that speak to the end use of the tool as well as Stampin’ Up! branding.
Stamp: To impress a pattern or mark (especially an official one) on
a surface, object, or document using an engraved or inked
block or die or other instrument
Apparatus: The technical equipment or machinery needed for a

November Stampers Dozen Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's that time again. Another month has passed and it's time for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. This month our theme is all about foil. Love that shiny foil paper. It just takes a project from drab to fab with a mall piece of it.

The projects I'm sharing today are projects that all attendees made at my November Retreat. They also received many of the components used in their goody bag so they could go home and make even more great foil projects. (I just hope they are kind enough to share with me what they make.)

First up is a hot chocolate kit in an acrylic box. Who say they are just for cards? This would also be a great way to give a gift of a gift card. Starbucks? or Dunkin?

Inside the box is a hot chocolate pack, some peppermint discs and a little tube filled with mini marshmallows. Cute, right?

The next project we made was a little pizza box with 4 3"x 3" mini cards. The outside is just a little sneak peek at what awaits you.

Here's the box with the four cards. Notice the flap of the little envelope was covered in coordinating designer series paper to bring the excitement of what's inside to the outside.

Here's card # 1. Each card used a different pattern of designer paper but they coordinate beautifully. Thank you Stampin' Up! for making creating so easy.

Card # 2  Notice the punched designer paper behind each ugly sweater is different but still coordinates.

Card # 3  Did you also notice that each punched shape is laid on the card a little differently?

Card # 4. To make it even more exciting, I used 4 different sweaters from the set so your recipient's excitement will go on and on.

Hope you have enjoyed my projects. Be sure to continue hopping.

Be sure to visit Bonnie's blog next.
