Holiday Happenings Blog Hop with Stampers Dozen

Hello Stamping Friends,

I hope you are all well today. I know we are gearing up for a nice snowstorm on Wednesday. I legitimately needed milk today and I guess everyone was out getting their bread, eggs, and milk for the storm. The grocery store was busy and had long checkout lines. Somehow, I always seriously go to the store for things that we are out of and that seems to be when there's a storm coming and everyone else has the same idea. You would have thought it was a Saturday or Sunday.

Anyway, tonight we have a great hop with the Stampers Dozen group that is full of holiday happenings. Be sure to scroll to the bottom so you can continue hopping by clicking the links below.

I decided to go with a great little treat that you can pass out to everyone you may meet from now until Christmas. I used the Wonders of the Season Memories and More card pack to make a super cute but easy tag to attach to a sweet bag of hot cocoa kisses. Who wouldn't want this treat to "warm" the holidays a bit?

I also used the 6"x6" Tis the Season designer series paper to put behind the card tag and backed that with some shaded spruce cardstock. I used the All the Trimmings Ribbon to attach the three pieces of the tag together as well as attach to the bag.  The finishing touch on the tag was the Snowflake adhesive backed embellishments. In person, it completes the look perfectly. There's just the right amount of shimmer to make the treat a little more festive and fun to receive.

By leaving the pieces loose instead of attaching the layers together, you can write a "sweet" message to the recipient.

Remember, keep scrolling so you can continue hopping along to be treated to more Holiday Happenings with the Stampers Dozen.

Time for Some Traditional Christmas Cards

Hello Stamping Friends,

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with your family. We had a wonderful day with family. Today the Sisters in Stamping are sharing with you some great Christmas cards using traditional Christmas colors of red and green.

I used the stocking from the Tag Buffet stamp set for my card. So easy to stick with this week's theme of traditional colors when you use some Christmas stockings. Just thinking, wouldn't they be the cutest thing if you handwrite a name on the cuff of each one?

I even dressed up the inside with the greeting from the set and the sweet little holly leaves and berries. I really like the double layers on the inside. I used Stampin' Blends to color in the stockings and the holly leaves and berries.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more red and green Christmas cards.

Thankful, Grateful, & Blessed Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's time for another fabulous blog hop with Stampers Dozen.  Crazy how fast a month goes by. This month we are sharing thankful, grateful, and blessed projects. November is a great time to slow down and take time to think about all those things in our lives that we are thankful for, the things we are grateful for, and things we realize how  completely blessed we are.

I think this card is a perfect card to let someone special to you know that you are thinking of them this month and are grateful and thankful for them. It's a simple,  yet perfect fall card to send to someone special.

The Life is Beautiful stamp set is such a versatile set that you can use for each season of the year. I love when a stamp set can be used all year long and look completely different. I also used the gilded autumn specialty designer series paper. The paper is so pretty with the gold elements, but I chose to use just the striped side and am so happy with the overall look.

Don't forget to keep hopping. You won't want to miss out on more great projects.

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's Friday, woohoo!!!! I hope you had a good week and have some great plans for the weekend. This week with Sisters in Stamping we are sharing some great fall cards with you. I know many are in Christmas mode, but we are hanging on to fall just a bit longer. There's still plenty of fall to be enjoyed and we don't want to rush it, although I understand why many are.

I absolutely love how this card turned out. I love the look of stacked pumpkins. We don't have a stamp that is stacked pumpkins, but you can easily achieve the look by stamping five pumpkins from the

Happy Halloween Friends

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Halloween! Was your day filled with trick or treating or passing out candy? I have to say that I miss my kids being little and the fun and excitement of picking out costumes, getting ready on Halloween, eating pizza before heading out, and traveling through the neighborhoods seeing friends and family. I may just have to tag-along with some other family next year. Any takers?

This week with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing Halloween ideas with you. This is one of my recent classes that I offered virtually, a Halloween sampler home decor piece.

It is 12"x12"finished (each square inside is 3") and is filled with Halloween goodies. Each square is a small representation of a Halloween tradition or thought; spiders, haunted houses, jack-o-laterns, bats, and owls. Isn't it so much fun? I love offering these classes. I am offering a fall one for Thanksgiving. If you are interested, let me know by November 5th at 6pm and you will be included in this month's virtual class. I'll be offering one in December for Christmas. I can't wait to make the two of them.

My youngest son (16 yrs old) painted this pumpkin for Halloween this year. He said he was going to a friend's house to paint pumpkins one night and this is what he brought home. He is such a kind-hearted soul. He supports all first responders and wanted to show his support. Definitely not a traditional jack-o-latern at all, but I love it.

Happy Halloween. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

Time for Some Treats

Hello Stamping Friends,

This week at Sisters in Stamping we are sharing some cute little treats with everyone. Everyone loves treats whether giving them or receiving them they are fun and these treats are no different. Part of the fun of planning a party is the favors (treats) that you will be giving to all of your attendees. Plus it's just "sweet" to receive a little something as a thank you or thinking of you. This kind of treat is completely unexpected, but truly appreciated.

I continued with the fall theme that I used earlier this week for the color challenge with the Stampers Dozen. The card will be the perfect accompaniment with this little treat.

I used one of the round tins from the mini catalog as my starting treat holder. These tins are bigger than one may think. They are so fun to decorate and I love that the toop is clear so you can see the treat waiting for you.

The side is decorated with some designer series paper and I think it finishes it off perfectly. The plaid paper in the Holiday Catalog is so awesome. It has plaid paper for so many different occasions; fall, Christmas, just because to name a few. I think everyone should order it. Now that I said that, you better really get it before it is sold out.

Isn't this the cutest little treat? It's perfect filled with caramels for the fall season. That's just my ever, not-so-humble opinion. (wink)

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more treat ideas.
