Cheerful Penguins Add Sparkle

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Friday to you. Happy day before Christmas Eve as well. Are you ready for the big weekend? I still have a good amount that I want to complete but I'm not really stressing over it. What I get done, I get done. I really am okay with that because I know my family won't mind not having that extra batch of cookies baked or the perfect gift wrapping and all those other things that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things this Christmas. As long as we are all together we can make great memories that will certainly last a lifetime. Perhaps I'm also being a little naive in realizing how little time I really have left. LOL

Anyway, I thought I'd share these cute little packages with you today. The chevron bags are retired but Stampin' Up! still carries these great little gift bags. They are just plain so that leaves so many options open for you to stamp them however you would like or just leave them as they are.

These bags are holding the little gifts that Jonah gave to his teachers and bus driver this year as a little token of appreciation for all they do. What's inside? Well, I got some little car air fresheners and their holders from Bath & Body. I figured they could use them in their cars or even leave them somewhere in their classrooms.

I know teachers don't need or want any more #1 teacher mugs, pens, or "apples" for their desks and I figured this would be a good gift that they can use anywhere and for a long time. Hope they liked them.

The little tags were so quick to put together but I love how they ultimately turned out. I had the penguins and candy canes already cut out as left overs from my Christmas cards (yep, they finally were finished this year). The rest was a quick scallop punch, a strip of designer series paper and a strip of some red glimmer paper (my favorite). I love how they sparkle. You know I love me some glitter.

Try to relax and enjoy the true reason for the season this year. Don't fret if you didn't get that one gift, clean your house perfectly, decorate every spec on and in your house, or bake all those cookies you wanted to. None of that should really matter. Enjoy your loved ones and cherish every moment you have with them.

Little Bag of Tags

Hello Stamping Friends,

A little punchy Friday for you. This week with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing with your some bags of tags for you. Great to get us going this holiday season. The tags are so adorable the recipient may  not even care to open the package to see what's inside. Well, we can all pretend a little anyway. (LOL)

Here is my bag of tags that Santa is ready to use. (I just hope he can use his magic to make the 10 tags multiply into the amount he needs for all the gift he has to give)

A couple of little punches make this tag easy to make multiples of. It really is a quick and easy tag to create. But makes the finished gift look so put together.

Sticking these tags in a little bag with a cute bag topper is a perfect gift to give to someone as well.

Here is the tag all by itself. Cute, right?

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more tag ideas.

Quick Little Christmas Gifts

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Friday to you. Two weeks till Christmas. Are you ready? I'm about halfway there. This weekend for me is going to be getting even more things completed (like some baking) in between my son's soccer games. Still need to finish Christmas cards, too. I'll be busy, busy this coming week. Even if it's a crazy time of year, I do enjoy it.

This week with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing some quick little Christmas gifts that you can still make for family, friends, coworkers, neighbors or anyone you need a little gift for. I made these little curvy keepsake boxes for some great friends who just happen to be stampers too. We went out for dinner earlier this week to celebrate Christmas and I wanted to give these special ladies a little something to let them know I appreciate them.

The curvy keepsake box can be made into so many cute little things and a little Santa suit box was perfect for the occasion. They didn't take long to make at all either. Which when you are making them last minute (not saying that's what I did, lol) you need quick and not very difficult.

To make it a little more interesting I used the Boho chic embossing folder to put some texture on the box. I also used the enamel dots from the Holiday catalog for the "buttons" on the jacket.  It's difficult to see in the pictures but the white part of the buckle is actually the dazzling details glimmer paper. Makes it look so awesome. I love it.

Then I stamped a little tag and die cut it with the deco labels framelits to dress it up even more. It's all about the little details. Or so I believe.  Are you wondering what I put inside the box?  Wonder no more, I put a little hand sanitizer inside. One can never have too many hand sanitizers can they?

The one little detail that I absolutely love is the little wooden snowflake element on the tag. They are natural wood in color but I made my snowflakes white by dabbing (or really smooshing) them into a craft Whisper White pad. The finished snowflake adds the perfect final touch to this adorable box.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for even more great small Christmas gifts. Enjoy these next two weeks leading up to Christmas. It will be over way to quick and then we need to wait a whole year for another festive time of year.

Thank you for stopping by. See you soon.
