Designer Tee Stamp Set Video

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's Saturday and I'm sharing another video with you from the Sale-a-bration catalog that focuses on the cute Designer Tee stamp set that coordinates with the Custom Tee stamp set in the Occasions Catalog. I love how the Occasions sets work so well with so many of the Sale-a-bration sets.

These two sets make such fun and adorable cards. You can use them for so many occasions.

Enjoy the video. I know you're going to love the cute cards made with the Designer Tee Stamp Set.

Lift Me Up & Take Me Away

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today I bring a fun treat that is super easy to make. I've shared a different one back in December (Christmas theme). This one today features the fun hot air balloons that are in the Occasions catalog and the coordinating paper that is in the Sale-a-bration brochure. I love the hot air balloons. One day I am going to go up in one. Yep, that's certainly on my bucket list. I think it may be a little frightening at first but oh so marvelous after that initial feeling of what the heck am I doing this for. Anyone up for a hot air balloon ride?

You start by covering some little nuggets of chocolate with a 1" x 3" piece of designer series paper. For this one I used two different patterns, but you can use 5 different (one for each chocolate) or use all the same. The choice is yours while the options abound.  I then cut a piece of coordinating cardstock (watermelon wonder) to 5" x 2" and score it 1/4" on each of the long sides to make a little "plate" for the chocolate to rest on before placing it in the cello bag. Honestly, these look adorable even without the tag if you needed a super quick and easy little treat/favor for a party.

Just a close up of the tag, so you can see all the fine details. Stamp the clouds all over 3/4 of the tag. Leave the bottom half blank.  Cut about 3/4" x 2" piece of gray dotted designer paper and a 1/2" x 2" piece of the little hot air balloon paper for the bottom portion of the tag. Then stamp and use the framelits to cut out the little thank you and notes. The hot air balloon is colored with markers and then cut out with the framelits.  The hot air balloon and the thank you are attached with dimensionals. (My favorite)

What type of party do you have coming up that this would be a great little treat for? How about Valentine's day for your friends, family and coworkers. The new designer series paper stack for Valentine's day would be great.

A Big Thank You

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Friday to you. Even if the weekend is a busy one (which most of ours are), the weekend is always something to look forward to. Why in the world is that? Any big plans going on this weekend for you?  Here the boys are snowboarding tonight (hope it doesn't really rain as much as it is really supposed to) and Jonah has a soccer tournament tomorrow. Still a busy few days but different than the normal weekly routine of work and school.

This week with Sisters in Stamping we have decided to share some projects with you using the great Sale-a-bration items that you can get for FREE until March 31st with a qualifying order ($50 before shipping and tax). Don't miss out, book your in home party/class today so you and your friends can get some FREEBIES. You know we all love them.

I used two different Sale-a-bration stamp sets on this card. I absolutely love how this came out and even better is that it is super quick to make, so  you can make multiples in a jiffy. I first stamped the big Thank you and then filled in around 2 1/2 of the sides with the flower. Add some green leaves and finish it off with some scattered dots. Those dots add so much to the finished card, it's amazing.  Oh, let's not forget some quick little bling under the long tail of the "u" in You.

Don't forget to head on over to Sisters in Stamping for more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by. Come back soon.

Always Appreciate Being Lifted Up

Hello Stamping Friends,

Being lifted up by friends when you are feeling down is certainly one of the best things of having friends. The love and support they offer when you are not feeling the best (either physically or emotionally) simply can't be replaced. And having several friends like that is just the best.

Today's card is perfect to send to one of those friends that was there for you and lifted you up when you needed it. A hot air balloon is the perfect way to show your appreciation to being lifted up.

The Carried Away designer series paper is so fun. I absolutely love, love this paper of the map. The hot air balloon is going up over the town. So fun, isn't it? This card is relatively easy to make. To get the colors behind the balloon you just use the framelits. Yep, there are shapes that fit the balloon so you can easily layer different colors and/or papers. Pretty nifty, I tell ya!
