New Ink Pads from Stampin' Up!

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm sure by now you have heard about the new ink pads from Stampin' Up! You may have some questions about it and this video and the information following it will certainly be able to answer many of those questions. However, if you have any other questions, I'm always available to help you out. Just ask!

Features of the new ink pads:
  • Fast drying, dye-based ink
  • Acid free
  • Flip top for upside-down storage: pads stay inked during storage
  • Firm foam pad lasts longer than felt pads and provides exceptional ink coverage, especially with solid-image stamps
  • Can be re-inked with matching Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills
  • Coordinates with Stampin’ Up! cardstock, markers, and embellishments
  • Less confusing to open. Opening the new ink pad case is now more simple and intuitive—just insert your thumb in the lip at the front of the case and lift it to open – much like opening a makeup compact.
  • Have a tighter fit between the lid and the base.   TIP:  Add a little wax paper on the “rails” if it’s a stiff during early use.
  • Stackable.
  • Improved labels and stickers.
How is the ink different?
The improved ink formula with de-foaming properties will:
  • Reduce ink bubbles.
  • Help you get a smooth coating of ink on the stamp.
  • Help lay down the ink better.
How do I know if my Classic Ink Refill has the new and improved ink?
Beginning with the 2018–2019 Annual Catalog, all ink refills will have the improved ink formula. Also, if you recently received an ink refill and it has the new branding label, it contains the improved ink formula.
Can I use an old ink refill on a new ink pad or a new ink refill on an old ink pad?
Yes! You can with the exception of the Basic Gray Archival and Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ inks. Archival and Classic inks should not be mixed. All other Classic Stampin’ inks will work fine.
Remember, if you have any other questions, just ask! I'd be happy to help.

New Photopolymer Stamps

Hello Stamping Friends,

Introducing photopolymer stamps by Stampin’ Up! See how cool all-clear stamping can be and learn how our photopolymer is the best in the market!

We’ve searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we’ve found it. We’re excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let’s just say they’re meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.
What makes them so great?
  • They’re entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don’t worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They’re age tested. They won’t yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • We could go on, but we’ll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

The Fine Print
  • Photopolymer stamps will be offered on a trial basis. Based on popularity, we hope to release more photopolymer stamp sets over the coming months. At this time we don’t plan on offering a line of photopolymer sets as expansive as our wood-mount and clear-mount lines.
  • Available on all order types beginning March 1, 2013.
  • Not available in wood-mount or clear-mount.
  • All photopolymer will be packaged in cello bag w/insert, but don’t forget you can store them in our clear cases.
Q: How long will each stamp set that’s released be available for purchase?
A: Since this product line is being offered on a trial basis and is not currently included in our catalog, we won’t have a standard amount of time that each set is offered. We’ll let you know when each set is no longer available as well as when new ones become available
