Sunday Fun Day Fun Fold Card

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Sunday Fun Day! This week with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing fun fold cards with you. Making fun fold cards are just as much fun to make as it is to receive.

I decided to make a pocket card this week. Not a very involved fun fold, but it is still a different way to fold and make a card. I love the colors on this card. They scream spring to me.

To make the pocket you just cut a piece of cardstock in half (4 1/4" by 11") and then score at 1" and 5 1/2". Fold the cardstock in half and then fold the 1" score in the opposite direction. I cut the two different designer series papers a 1/4" smaller to layer nicely on the front of the card.

The inside piece that pulls out is 4" x 5 1/4" with the white layer just a 1/4" smaller. I love stamping a little on the inside piece to make it just as exciting to open as the outside.

For the outside, I stamped and punched the dragonflies out and then colored them with Stampin' blends. I layered them onto the layering circles dies.  Before I attached the circles, I wrapped a piece of ribbon around the "pocket" and that is what is holding it closed. There is no adhesive used to make the pocket fold card. The only adhesive used was for the layers.
