Ice Cream Corner Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm so excited to be participating in this blog hop today. I know I have shared with you several different projects using the Ice Cream Corner suite of products, but I just can't help share more. I love ice cream. I love ice cream sets and paper, so it's a perfect match. I hope you are enjoying the projects I've made so far with it.  What's even better than just one card shared by me? A whole blog hop using the Ice Cream Corner suite. Don't forget to keep hopping. The links are at the end of the post.

I used the designer series paper as my starting point for this card. I haven't used the actual ice cream and cones paper yet, so I felt it was time. For my card base, I cut it regular size and then scored and folded the paper. Once it was folded in half, I cut 1" off of the front so you can see the inside just a bit.

I then used the rainbow glimmer paper and the ice cream punch to punch a rainbow of flavors. I'll pretend it's mint, blueberry, strawberry, and black raspberry ice cream. (LOL) I also punched the cone from the sheet of designer paper that looks like a cone. Super easy so far, right?

For the inside, which can actually be seen from the outside I stamped the greeting in bermuda bay and then used the little dots stamp in granny apple green to just add a little more to my card. I hope you like my card and feel inspired to create. If you are in the United States and would like to purchase any of the items I used click on the item picture below.

Remember to keep hopping. You won't want to miss all of the great ice cream themed projects. I promise.

Let's Celebrate Birthdays Stampers Dozen Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm so excited about tonight's blog hop with Stampers Dozen. The theme is one that we can all relate to: birthdays! Everyone has one, everyone knows others that have one, so cards for birthdays are always popular with crafters.

I choose the Oh Snap stamp set for this card because it is so much fun and I haven't created anything with it yet. This would be a fun card to give a person of any age. You can even use the "Sorry" stamp if you missed the birthday and are sending it a tad late.

I first stamped the crocodile on the white piece of cardstock and then cut it into the three strips. Each strip is backed with granny apple green cardstock and attached to the card base using dimensionals.

I loved the "splotched" piece of designer paper from the Ice Cream Corner pack and felt it was perfect for this card because it gives the feeling of water or swamp. What do you think?

On the inside, I placed a 1" piece of the designer paper and stamped the simple greeting, "It's your birthday!" Don't you think it's a great card for any age? Don't forget to keep hopping to see more great ways to celebrate birthdays.

I appreciate you stopping by. If you are in the United States and would like to order any of the products I used, click the picture of the item below. See you soon.

Spring Theme Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Are you ready for some spring weather? I know I am beyond ready. We have had snow covering the ground at our house for over 5 weeks now. And with the dumping we received last week, we have almost three feet of snow on the ground. The snow is almost to the top of our hot tub. Nothing like relaxing in the hot tub and being able to build a snowman, right?

I suppose that pesky groundhog, Phil, was correct with his 6 more weeks of winter predication. Two down, four to go and yes, I am counting.  I like the spring season because of new beginnings, new growth, and warmer weather.  One of the best things of the season for me is when my lilac tree (that grew from thrown out stems) blooms. I love the smell of the blooms and can inhale deeply over and over. Yep, weird, but I don't care.

I know this is a hydrangea stamp, but honestly when you are not a huge floral person like me, it can certainly remind you a little bit of a lilac. Seriously, just go with it for my sake. The color and the little designs remind me of my sweet lilacs.

This is a great card to send to someone to just let them know you love them and are thinking of them. It's pretty easy to make because the designer paper does most of the work. I stamped one hydrangea, cut it out and embellished with some colored pearls. I colored the pearls on the pearl paper before taking them off with the Stampin' Blends.

Attach the flower with dimensionals and the tag is the final thing added to the flower. Isn't it a pretty card regardless of the type of flower?

Don't forget to get more spring ideas by continuing on the hop. Links are below.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.
