Stamper's Dozen Spring Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to another Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop. Spring is finally here in Pennsylvania (it won't be warm for long, temps are going to drop again but we are enjoying it while we can). Our theme this month is Spring. Couldn't be more welcome in my opinion.

I used the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set (which supports Ronald McDonald House Charities when you purchase it) for my card. This is a retiring stamp set so get it now before it's gone. It's such a cute set that you can do so much with. Check it out.

Using the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper Stack made for a quick and easy yet pretty background for my card. Of course, I used my absolute favorite color (I'll be so sad once it says goodbye next year since it's an in-color), Lemon Lime Twist. I love it. So cheerful. And it matches my car and that's reason enough to use it.

Spring is a time for all the little creatures you haven't seen in months to come alive again. Ladybugs always make me smile and these two little one just look like they are having so much fun crawling about in the fresh, bright green grass.

I used the always here for you sentiment, which is great for so many different occasions to let someone know you are thinking of them and there whenever you need them.

Don't forget the retirement list is out. You can check it out HERE

Have fun hopping and checking out all the great Spring ideas. Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

Sweet Jar for Sharing

Hello Stamping Friends,

There's so much to share today so hang in there with me. I don't want you to miss out on any deals and then be sorry you missed it later. First and foremost, it's Friday and you know that means a post with the Sisters in Stamping for Fabulous Friday. This week, we are focusing on the new accesssories in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. (Don't have one yet, let me know and I'll get one to you.)

For my card, I used the awesome new Ronald McDonald House charities stamp set, Sharing Sweet Thoughts. Did you know that $3.00 from the purchase of each one of these sets goes toward the charity? It's a win/win, you get an adorable stamp set and you contribute to make the lives of families with sick little ones a little easier. What are you waiting for? Get yours today.

This is such a sweet card. I stamped the jar and the strawberries in black. Then I colored in the strawberries using Stampin' Write markers, Berry Burst and Emerald Envy. The lid (BTW, I love, love, love the gingham print lid) was stamped in Berry Burst ink. Both pieces are die cut using the Everyday Jars framelits (yes, they coordinate with the Jar of Love set, too). I used half of a doily and scrunched it up to fit the bottom of the jar. I used the berry burst ribbon along the bottom of the emerald envy cardstock and then put a simple knot in an extra piece of the ribbon and attached it with a glue dot. This makes it look like the ribbon is tied around but without the bulk of a real knot.

The emerald envy cardstock was embossed using the new layered leaves dynamic textured impressions embossing folder. I love how deep the impressions are with these folders.

Be sure to visit the Sisters in Stamping page for more ideas using new accessories.

Before you go, a few reminders. There are just 3 days left to both of the July promotions. Don't miss out. The best deal is pick out $125 worth of product for just $99  (plus tax) and receive an additional $70 in product, so you get $195 of product for just $99 (plus tax). WHAT A DEAL!

Part of the $70 additional product you will receive is the Carols of Christmas stamp set shown above. If you love the framelits (which why wouldn't you), you can get them as part of the $125 in product you select. You also get the items listed below as part of the additional $70 in product. It's a fantastic deal. Don't miss out.

If you are still saying no to the fantastic deal above, you can take part in the Bonus Days. Spend $50 (before shipping and tax) and you will get a $5 coupon to redeem in August. It's for every $50 spent so you can earn multiple. Again, this is only available for 3 more days. Hurry.

Cupcakes and Sprinkles, Some Things I Love

Hello Stamping Friends,

If you know me at all, you know I love to bake cupcakes. It's kind of funny, I have friends that send pins from Pinterest to me as little hints of the types of cupcakes they may want me to make. Subtle hints, right? LOL

So it goes without saying that any stamp set that has a cupcake in it, I just NEED to have it. Of course, the Sprinkles of Life set was a no brainer last year because it was the Ronald McDonald House Charities set and it had a cupcake. Both reasons were good enough for me to order it right away.

This is a little tag (that could easily turn into a bookmark) that I made to go onto a cello bag full of cupcake goodies to make a birthday perfect (cupcake liners, sprinkles, candles, balloons). It's a fun way to make a gift for someone to let them know you are thinking about them without spending a ton of money.

Time for a Spring Bike Ride

Hello Stamping Friends,

Back today with another Moving Forward card to share.  You may remember this layout from an Easter card I posted last month.  I actually made this card long before that one but I loved it so much that I wanted to make those cute bunny cards with it too. It's definitely a quick and easy card layout that you can substitute many, many different images on the punched circle cardstock.

Spring is definitely time for a nice bike ride and who doesn't love the new Spring flowers that pop up everywhere?  Well, we are not seeing too many flowers popping up way up here on the mountain just yet, but I'm hopeful tat they will be here soon, real soon. So instead, this card will be all that I need to "smell the flowers."

Moving Forward and Last Day of FREE Shipping

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day. The sun is shining here in NEPA and we are loving it.  Spring is finally here and we are all ready to welcome it.  Just wanted to drop in today with a card and a reminder that today is the final day for FREE SHIPPING.   Use this hostess code: FGUTAUFQ when you go online to place your order. Also, you will be able to have the order shipped directly to you.

This is a card with a unique fold (opens in the center not the side like usual) that uses the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) set, Moving Forward.  When you purchase this set, Stampin' Up! donates $3.00 to RMHC. Isn't that awesome?  You get a great set that will make awesome cards and RMHC gets $3.00 to help support families to stay close by when the have sick children in the hospital.

I like the colors of this card. It's nice and bright and a fun birthday card to give or receive. And it really is an easy card to make. Stampin' Write markers give you the ability to make a bold image stamp like the blimp multi-colored with little effort.

A Variety of Projects

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today I'm sharing with you a couple of projects. I know it's certainly more than you are used to but that's because I am submitting these projects to Stampin' Up! and they need to be in one place. Hope you don't mind extra creativity on a Monday.

This is a 12 x 12 page of Jonah and my nephew, Aaron in their Halloween costumes. My brother in law is a professional photographer so he wanted to take them to the movie theater and do some pictures.  The people at the theater were more than happy to have these two cuties pose.  Yes, they are sitting on the concession stand. The pictures turned out great.

Just a close-up of the journaling.

And a close-up of the picture so you can see them better.

Here's a card that I made multiples of for the upcoming regional seminar in Baltimore. I can't wait for it.  I love the multiple textures on this card by using embossing folder, cut out stamped images, and the 2 1/2" circle punch to add dimension.

And here's a fun birthday card that would be great for any boy, young or old, or anyone else you may need to give a card to.  I love the unique use of the apothecary framelits on this card. I cut off the bottom half circle to make it a straight edge.  Great way to get a whole new look.   It also uses a Make a Wish set and the honeycomb embossing folder from the Spring Catalog.

Hope you have enjoyed the extra projects today.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!

All for the Kids

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today is Fabulous Friday and you know that means it's time for some Sisters in Stamping challenges.  Today we were to use the Ronald McDonald House Charities set, Moving Forward. It's all for the kids who are ill and need to have their family close by while they are in the hospital getting better.

Every year Stampin' Up! donates to this wonderful charity and they continue the donations throughout the year when someone purchases this set, $3.00 from the price of the set is automatically donated.

Stampin' Up! launched its Making a Difference program in 2003. This program facilitates corporate giving and promotes service among demonstrators and employees.

Through the Making a Difference program, Stampin' Up! partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Each year, we design an exclusive stamp set to promote the partnership with RMHC, and donate a portion of the proceeds from the each sale of that set. To date, more than $95,000 has been donated from RMHC stamp set sales.

Stampin' Up!'s demonstrators are also encouraged to volunteer their time teaching local Ronald McDonald House guests the creative art of rubber stamping through the Making a Difference program. Demonstrators also create cards at training events which are donated to Ronald McDonald Houses. Those staying at the Houses then use the cards to keep in touch with loved ones while they are away from home.

I love the bold images from this set.  So fun to use your markers to ink up the image in multiple colors and really make your project come alive as you can see in the blimp on this card.  These are great for some quick, easy, yet impressive looking finished cards.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping to see some more projects using this set that is all for the kids.
