I'm so excited for the class I'm holding on Saturday. You need to set some time aside for yourself and come to class to make this adorable little advent calendar. It is a countdown to Christmas that you can use year after year and make your favorite little people so happy each of the 24 days prior to Christmas morning. They are made using a muffin tin so you fill each cup with a little treat or a coupon to do a fun Christmas activity (i.e. drive to look at lights, read a Christmas book, sing Christmas songs or any fun activity you can think of).

These ladies made their calendars a few weeks ago and were thrilled with how they turned out. They even want more to give to some more of their favorite little elves that love Christmas.

The calendar can be made vertical or horizontal depending on your own personal preference. The choice is yours, and, honestly, they look great either way.

Just want to remind you quickly about this Friday evening's Stamp of the Month class. We are going to be focusing on the Treehouse Adventures stamp set. No Bones About It, You Should Join Me

Hello Stamping Friends,

How's your first week of summer going? Have any great plans for vacation this summer? Our summer is going to be jammed packed with family visiting, trips to the beach, and fun little day trips from time to time. We have already went strawberry picking (I love that summer past time), saw Finding Dory (which was adorable), and last night I took my dad to see Dolly Parton (his Father's Day gift), so I would say the summer here is starting off nicely.

Don't forget there's always time for stamping too. I have classes mixed in with all of our personal family fun or you can host your own. My next class is a week today, Stamp a Stash. You make 12 cards for $20. If you want to attend just let me know. It's always a great time. Or better yet, you can become a part of this great family that I have been a part of for the past 15 years. This card is a fun card to make, especially if you want a unique fold without too much effort. It's a z-fold card. You start with a half sheet of cardstock (4 1/4" x 11") and fold it in half. Then you take the front edge and fold it back to the crease. See, that's it, super easy, right? Then you select some coordinating paper, your stamp images and ink and have fun making it extra special.

I will note that the designer series paper and the washi tape are no longer available but I still wanted to show you this fun card. You can easily swap them out for current product too.

Here's a different angle for you to see it better. Tip: on the front piece that you stamp, only put adhesive on the left side of the paper. If not, you will be adhering the card closed and you don't want that to happen.

The dinosaurs are a great set for little boys, but think about it, wouldn't it be a good card to give someone "older" that is celebrating a huge milestone birthday. You know, kind of like they are as old as a dinosaur? Guess you would have to be give it to someone with a great sense of humor.

12 x 12 Framed Summer Sampler – $20.00 per person

This class features a great insert for a 12x12 shadow box frame to add to any home décor. Below is an example of one from Pinterest. Not the one we will be doing since the 4^th will be past. There will be different squares that are on a 12x12 piece of cardstock that feature different stamps, punch art or die cuts that coordinate with the theme. This will be a monthly class so you will get a different insert each month and they will correlate with the seasons or holidays that are upcoming. All you need to bring is snail adhesive. Frame is not included so you can purchase one that will work with your home’s décor.

Season to Season Wreath Class – $35.00 per person

This class features the great wreath in the holiday catalog that you can leave up from one season to the next. All you need to do is change the banner when the season changes. The kit in the catalog includes 3 banners (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), but we will be making a few more wreaths (winter, valentine’s and patriotic) so you can keep it out year round. All you will need to bring with you is a hot glue gun, glue sticks and your regular adhesive. Everything else is included.

This is going to be a new monthly class that will focus on an upcoming Holiday or season. You will create an insert for a 12 x 12 frame that will be as easily changed as the seasons change. A piece of art that can be left out year round. All stamping materials included in the cost of the class. (12x12 frame not included in fee, you can get that at your favorite craft/hobby store. KIDS SUMMER CAMP – $50.00 per child
 This summer camp is designed specially for children. We will be working on a journal/album to keep your child’s memories all together. The class will focus on the Epic Day This & That series. Class will include the journal, washi tape and the Epic Day designer stickers. Your child’s journal will include some lists of their favorite things, some of their goals and other great information that will be fun to have recorded in a book to look back on later in their lives. A snack will be provided each day. Children are encouraged to bring some of their favorite pictures (about 20 – 30) that you are okay with them altering and other memorabilia they would like to keep in their books.  All other supplies are included in the cost of the camp.

This is a new product line that Stampin’ Up! is offering. It’s scrapbooking for those with little time. The class will include a card collection kit, coordinating accessory pack and 4 pocket pages for the 6” x 8” album. Bring some pictures with you so you can have complete pages when you leave. You will be receiving the Playground collection this month.

There will be a special add on order at a bundle savings price available the night of the class. Details given at class.

KIDS SUMMER CAMP – $50.00 per child

Each child will receive a six sheets of Flashback designer series paper to use on their projects during camp plus a personalized stamp with their name on it. Any materials left at the end will go home with each child. A snack will be provided each day.  All supplies are included in the cost of the camp.
