Hello Stamping Friends,
I'm so excited to be a part of today's blog hop with Crafty Collaborations. It's the Stampin' Dreams Throwback Thursday Blog hop. We are to recreate something we made in the past. I scrolled through my blog and picked the post from 10 years ago today. See it HERE.
Boy was it fun to scroll through the past cards and projects I made. It definitely wanted me to remake some of them with current products. Why reinvent the wheel, right? If you have something you like and are proud of just change the colors and the stamps and you will have a new project.
So, above is the card from ten years ago. It's a simple card to make, but I absolutely love the finished look. Of course, it has polka dots, so that definitely helps. (LOL)
And now we have the above card using new products. The polka dots are larger, but that's okay. The blue cardstock is a little different shade. The embossing folder is different. The greeting is different, as well as the round tab. But overall, it looks pretty similar and I'm just as happy with this card as I was the one ten years ago. What do you think?
Why don't you take a look back at some cards you made in the past and recreate them using products you have on hand today? It's a fun challenge.
