Crafty Challenge Blog Hop - Sketch

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm back. Are you loving these blog hops as much as I am? I love the challenge and then seeing all of the great ideas everyone shares. I hope you are finding as much inspiration as I am.  Today's hop is a sketch challenge. Sometimes thinking of a new layout is challenging and these sketch challenges certainly help in that area.

This sketch was even more fun to create because it was not a traditional size card. It's a slim line card.  It's 3 1/2" x 8 1/2", long and narrow. I like switching things up once in a while.

So, this was a little fun to interpret. I wasn't sure if it was two strips under the set of three rectangles or was it one? Technically, it could be either. That's why sketch challenges are fun.

I decided it was one strip and stamped my greeting on the white space. But, I added a layer on the bottom that I embossed to give some texture and to cover up all the white space that was left over. I love how this card turned out.

I chose to use three different colors of cardstock for each rectangle that my birdhouses are on and then stamped the birdhouses in the same colors, but attach the two green ones to the opposite green to give it a little more variety.

The colors are so refreshing and say spring to me.

Hope you like the card and feel inspired. Remember there is only about a week left with the current catalog, so place your order today for any items that will be gone in May. Visit my website to order.

Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring weekend. After this week's snow (5" at my house), I am more than ready to enjoy a warm 70 degree day. And to add to that we have a great blog hop with Crafty Collaborations for the monthly Share it Sunday. Be sure to scroll to the bottom for the links to more crafty inspiration.

I used the Artistically Inked stamp set. It's not retiring and I'm so happy with that. I love this set. It's beautiful and so easy to make pretty cards.

I stamped some images directly on the Basic white layer to make it look like a collage. Then I stamped a few pieces on scrap paper, cut them out, and added them with dimensionals to make them pop.

Happy Easter from the Sisters in Stamping

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are enjoying this Easter Sunday with your family and friends. Remember the true reason of the day though.  Today with Sisters in Stamping we are sharing some Easter cards with you.

I used the Easter Friends stamp set for a fun double z-fold card.  This little bunny is just so cute; you just have to love him.

When the card is folded it easily fits into a standard card envelope since it folds to
5 1/2" x 4 1/4".  What makes this card so great is all of the layers. They really pull the card together and give it the finished look you want.

The little bunny is colored using Stampin' Blends. Remember to use light and dark colors for more depth and shading.  The designer series paper easily pulls the card together leaving you more time to stamp other cards.

This is the view from the top of the card. You can see there is a saying on the inside too. If you want any of the products on this card or any other products from the Jan - Jun 2022 mini catalog or the Annual catalog, visit my website to place your order. You can email me too.

See you soon!

Stampers Dozen Sneak Peek Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to another blog hop with the Stampers Dozen. This month is an anything goes hop, but I decided to give you a little sneak peek into the future.  I used a stamp set that you will see and get to purchase in the new catalog that's coming out in just a few short weeks.

I kept the card relatively simple by using a monochromatic look. I used Pear Pizzazz and Soft Seafoam for this card, both cardstock and ink. To make the background I used the detailed image in soft seafoam, whereas I used the Pear Pizzazz for the detail in the main focal image. I then stamped the greeting in Pear Pizzazz before punching it out.

If you would like a copy of the catalog when it comes out, please let me know. I'd be happy to get one to you. You'll need it to make your shopping list for the year. Yes, the year because it will take you that long to get all that you want since it's jampacked with goodies.

Don't forget to keep hopping too.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop with Crafty Collaborations

Hello Stamping Friends,

Thanks for joining me today for another great blog hop. This hop is focusing on scraps!  We all have so, so many scraps in our stash, and it's always good to use them as often as you can. I challenge each of you to head to your stash and make some projects from scraps.

I actually used a piece of cardstock that was already cut for my base. It was leftover from a previous project. And the same for the two other layers. They were cut previously and I just used them up for my layers. Then the clouds, boots, grass, and flowers were all cut from scraps of designer paper that I saved.

I actually love how the boots turned out. I stamped them in crushed curry onto white designer paper that has black dots on it. Such a fun way to add more fun to these adorable rainboots.

All of the designer paper is from the Pattern Party Hostess pack of designer series paper. I am seriously going to miss this paper. I use it often because I love the colors and the images. My favorite part of this pack of paper is that one side on every sheet is black and white. So versatile.
