Christmas In July

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to another great blog hop. It's never to early to begin thinking about your Christmas cards and Stampin' Up! knows that too. This month they are offering a great deal to anyone that joins the Stampin' Up! family and we wanted to give you some awesome ideas using this new set that you would get along with the rest of your kit (the framelits are not part of the special but you can order them as part of your kit so you have the complete bundle).

This card uses the Carols of Christmas set and the coordinating thinlits, Card Front Builder. What an easy card to make a bunch of, yet it's still impressive looking. Not a ton of materials needed either. The embossing and gold foil paper makes this a very classy looking card to give and receive. I just used cherry cobbler and gold foil paper for this card. One ink pad, versamark. Some gold embossing powder, and a heat gun. And let's not forget some thinlits and framelits. You can easily make multiples of this card this holiday season.

The ornament stamp was just stamped across the bottom of the framed card several times to give it a complete row of ornaments hanging from the greeting. I started with stamping it on the right hand side and then when I got to the left hand side, I just covered the edge of the frame with a scrap piece of paper so that only two of the stamps from the image would stamp on the cherry cobbler cardstock (because that's all that fit). And it fits perfectly under the greeting that way too.

This is a picture of the stamp set and the thinlits.  Remember you can get the stamp set for FREE as part of the $70 bundle you get when you take advantage of the $99 kit price, but that's only until Monday, July 31st. Best decision you'll ever make.

Be sure to keep hopping so you won't miss any of the awesome ideas using this great new set.
