Hello Stamping Friends,

Great savings, but it you want an even better deal, join the Stampin' Up! family for just $75 and receive $125 worth of product (with  the sale, you can get even more than $125 in product). Hop on over to my website and click JOIN NOW.

Now onto some stamping inspiration. Today is a blog hop with crafty collaborations with a theme of winter holiday. I suppose living in NE PA, this is a perfect card to fit the bill. We have already had about an inch of snow just this week. I can tell you, "I'M NOT READY!"  (Yes, I'm screaming it. LOL)

Again, on this card, I'm letting my designer paper do the majority of the work for me. If you don't have a lot of time or feel that you don't have a lot of creativity then let the designer paper help you out. Creating with it is so easy.

I also went with non-traditional holiday colors for this card. Black and white with a little pink is so pretty. Then the sparkle from the designer paper is the perfect touch. I also punched the end of the greeting strip to give it a different look. Better than just a plain straight edge.

The die cut snowflakes in the mini catalog are so pretty and perfect if you want to add some dimension and texture to your card without too much effort when you are running short on time.  I added a basic rhinestone to the center of the snowflake to add just a touch more of sparkle.

I also finished the edge off with some black and white gingham ribbon. I love gingham ribbon. I want it in every color.

Winter is Upon Us

Remember to Create!

Hello Stamping Friends,

The Sisters in Stamping blog is sharing cards made with a winter theme today. Winter is definitely upon us here in northeast Pennsylvania. I think we have dealt with more ice than actual snow so far this year and today is no different. I must admit, driving in the snow is less stressful than driving in the ice.

My snow friends here are certainly enjoying the blustery snow storm behind them. Look at those smiling faces. This card was super simple to create. If you have white cardstock and the Let it Snow Designer Series paper you are good to go. Seriously, that's all I used. Well, besides some adhesive and dimensionals.

It's the perfect card is you don't have a lot of time. I cut the three snowman and tree from one piece of designer paper. They are all connected. Attached the strip to the snowy background designer paper using dimensionals and then attached that to a white cardstock base.

Be sure to visit the Sisters in Stamping blog for more winter-themed cards.

Brrr, It's Winter and Time for Snowflakes

Hello Stamping Friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family. Ours was very nice. It's Fabulous Friday with the Sisters in Stamping. This week's theme is winter or snow. I must admit, I am already over this winter and the snow and it just began. Yikes, I've got a long road ahead until warmer temps.

I used one of my favorite sets (despite me not loving winter and snow right now) to make my card. Whenever I make a snowflake card, my favorite colors t use are blues, greens and purples. I saw it on wrapping paper years ago and I just love it. This is a simple card to make, you start with a base and then cut another piece of whisper white at 5" x 3 3/4" to leave a 1/2" border around. I stamped my snowflakes in pear pizzazz, wisteria wonder, and soft sky (that color is hard to see in this pic). Then I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy. I finished the card off with a few rhinestones and that was the perfect touch.

This card is so easy to make you can make a bunch of them to use as your winter thank you cards in no time at all. They would also make a great gift if you packaged some up and put them in one of the acetate card boxes.

Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping to see more winter/snow themed projects.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon.
