Bundling with the Sisters in Stamping

Hello Stamping Friends,

So happy to be here with you again this week with the Sisters in Stamping. It's great to create with these ladies each week and share with you. This week we are sharing some of our favorite bundles from the January-June 2022 catalog. Go check out the catalog now to see each bundle offered. There are quite a few and I'm pretty sure you will want to add them to your wishlist (or just order them today, why wait?)

I have a hard time picking just one of my favorites because there are several that I absolutely love. But alas, I needed to choose one so I went with the Flowering Rain Boots bundle since I haven't shared anything using it with you just yet.

Leaving this card without a greeting on the front opens it up to be used for any occasion. (See below, I stamped a greeting on the inside that does make it a bit more specific) This was a somewhat simple card to make, but the layers really make the card come together perfectly. You know me, I love layers!

The boots with the flowers are the perfect size to fill a card without having to add a lot of other "stuff" to make it look good.

I love this saying that is in the set because I love the little play on words when you use the rain boots (that you wear in rain) and the flowers (that need sunshine) for your focal point. This saying and card is sure to make someone you love smile and know that someone cares about the and is there for them at any time. Who would you send this card to?

Bundle and Save Day!

Remember to Create!

Hello Stamping Friends,

How are you all doing? I know it's been pretty spotty for me with posting and I want to thank you for sticking with me. I worked almost every day this past school year, Jonah was on two soccer teams, seeing Brittney and Eli and visiting Noah at school with workshops in between, kept me on my toes.  Thank goodness it's summer and I can take a break and chill for a few weeks. Still trying to land that dream teaching job so if you know of any place be sure to let me know. I enjoy subbing and all that it offers but I really want my own classroom. I keep praying the day will happen soon.

So now that you are caught up with where in the world Rachel has been, it's time for another Fabulous Friday posting with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are focusing on the great bundles that are available in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog that was released earlier this month. Don't have your copy yet? Let me know. I have them here.

I used the Sea of Textures bundle, stamp set and framelits, to make my card. There is certainly a lot of texture going on with this card. I embossed the tranquil tide cardstock with the wave folder then added a few pieces of the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper. Next, I diecut the "net" from crumb cake cardstock, stamped the octopus in Fresh Fig and die cut him out and attached with some (awesome) dimensionals of course. Finished it off with a banner greeting that reads, "thanks for reaching out"

It's a great card to give someone that you want to thank for being there for you. Obviously the time of year is perfect for this card too. However, any ocean loving person would love this year round.

Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping blog for more ideas using bundles. Remember bundle and save. You save 10% the purchase price by getting this in a bundle rather than individually.

Thanks for stopping by. Come back soon, I have more to share.

Bundle & Save, That's the Way

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's Friday again. Woohoo, the weekend is here. That also means it's time again for another Fabulous Friday with the Sisters in Stamping.  This week we are focusing on the great bundles in both the annual catalog and the Holiday Catalog.  There are so many great bundles (stamp sets and punches, stamp sets and framelits) that you can purchase and save 15% off retail price by getting the bundle instead of getting the items individually.

The best part about that is that then you have just what you need to make great projects with minimal effort. You just have to love that. I love creating when things are super easy. The project could be very detailed but as long as the process is easy, it's for me.

My card this week was inspired by one of the many awesome swaps I received at convention last month.  I changed a few things to make it more "me" but not too much because it already was a great card. It uses the Flower Shop Bundle which includes the punch and stamp set. The set has six different pansy flowers (different designs but all the same shape).

Stamping Supplies Used:
Stamps: Flower Shop Bundle with punch, A Dozen Thoughts
Ink: Early Espresso So Saffron, Pool Party, & Calypso Coral
Paper: Whisper White, Pool Party, Early Espresso, So Saffron, & Calypso Coral Cardstock
Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Pansy Punch (part of bundle), Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive & Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch

Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to visit the Sisters in Stamping for more bundle ideas.
