Best of 25 Years

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today is Fabulous Friday with the Sisters in Stamping.  Our challenge this week is to use any one of the Best of sets anyway we would like. So with fall here and Thanksgiving a few weeks away, I thought this little pumpkin was certainly the way to go.

It is stamped onto a piece of muslin using Black Staz-on ink.  I then colored it in (but not completely, I kind of sketched with the colors so I wouldn't lose the stamped image) using the Stampin' Write Markers.  After it was stamped, colored, and the greeting stamped, I used the deco framelits to cut it out so I could layer it onto the front of one of our canvas bags. Once it was cut, I outlined the muslin so you can distinguish the shape a lot easier.

Before attaching the muslin piece, I glued the burlap ribbon around the bag and cut a small piece of pumpkin pie chevron ribbon to layer on top of the burlap in the front. I then attached the muslin using the multi-purpose tombo glue. It's a great glue that holds so well.

Stamping Supplies Used:
Stamps: Best of 25 Fall Set
Ink: Black Staz-on, Soft Suede (for the greeting)
Accessories: Burlap Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie Chevron Ribbon, Stampin' Write Markers: Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Tombo Multi-Purpose Adhesive, Big Shot, Deco Labels Framelits, Craft Scissors

Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping for more great ideas using the Best of sets.

Best of Stamp Sets

Hello Stamping Friends,

Here to let you know about the newest Best of 25 Years set available. I must say, I think this is by far my favorite Best of set yet. I fondly remember the bucket of apples and the cute little fall tree with the leaves falling.

Remember when you purchase a Best of set there is a little round sticker with the number 25 on it. It's shown on the right side of the flyer above. You want to save that sticker and place it on a sheet that I will give you. When you purchase 6 Best of sets, you will be able to select any $14.95 stamp set for FREE as part of the 25th Anniversary celebration.

This clear mount set is $14.95.  Use item code # 134390 when ordering.

25th Anniversary Best of Stamps - March Release

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's a new month during Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary year and that means a new Best of stamp set is released.

Item # 133342   Best of Flowers   $14.95

This set includes two of my favorite flower stamps of all time.  The great hydrangea (I know several stampers have asked me for a hydrangea stamp in the past, here's you change to get the most popular one we have had in my 12 years with Stampin' Up!) and the daisy from Upsy Daisy. I used both of them quite a bit before they retired.

Did you notice the daisy looking (can you tell I'm not a flower person by any means?) stamp coordiantes with our  1 1/4" circle scallop punch?  I know you all love stamps that have punches to coordinate with them to do all the work for you.  Plus it's a never before seen stamp.
