Wedding Season is Here

Hello Stamping Friends,

We all know the fall is a great time to have a wedding. My own anniversary is in the fall, my husband's parents had a fall wedding, and now my son will have a fall anniversary. Keep scrolling...........

This week with Sisters in Stamping we are sharing wedding cards with you. But I have decided to share not just any wedding cards. I am sharing my son and daughter in love's wedding invitation and the program I made for their wedding ceremony. They just got married on Saturday.

The invitation is on the left and the program on the right. There were quite a few steps to both, but they look beautiful. So, it was well worth the work.

The invitation was held closed using a removable belly band. Remove the band and open the card to see all the information.

It was a tri-fold card because they had a lot of information that needed to be shared and they didn't want a lot of different separate pieces that may get lost.  The wedding was a full weekend at a camp, so festivities began on Friday and finished up on Sunday. They didn't want their wedding to be over in just a few hours. They truly wanted to celebrate all weekend with their friends and family. It was a great weekend!

This is the program for the ceremony. It is regular card size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I made them to coordinate with their invitations. They are slightly different though.

The inside has the people most important to the bride and groom and their wedding party on the left and the program for the ceremony on the right. I love how they turned out. (Even though, my own daughter said I was a bit crazy for making them so detailed)

Here's the groom. My first-born son. A handsome lad if you ask me. (And no, I'm definitely not biased) I am so proud of him my heart can just burst.

Can't you see the pride in my face?

Here's the new bride and groom.

And lastly, my whole family. I am a blessed woman.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon. Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more wedding card ideas.
