I'm not usually a big flower girl, but I'm loving this new designer series paper from the Sale-a-bration offering. It's so easy to create beautiful cards. One greeting stamp, some paper, two ink pads and a sponge dauber is all it took to create this beauty.
I used the sponge dauber to "color" the edges of the printed designer paper and the edges of the greeting to age them a little bit. Sometimes you don't want the stark white edges (I know, other times you do).
I think the key to making this card look so well put together is the layering. I know, I say that all the time. But it's true! Sometimes you may look at a project and say it's missing something. Well, that something can be as simple as adding an extra layer. Really, try it! It works.
I am also really liking the slim sayings set that is found in the new Jan-June 2022 mini catalog. They definitely don't need anything else to complete a card. Sometimes the saying is all you need and this set proves it.
