Hello Stamping Friends,
It is the final day of November and we all know what tomorrow is then. The very first day of a month that will fly by in the blink of an eye, December! I love the holidays and the preparations (shopping, baking, wrapping, friends) but I just wish it didn't go as fast as the speed of light. Anyone agree?
This little card/gift card holder/envelope is a fun little project to make. Of course, like many projects that I share you can switch it out for any other occasion you may want to give a gift card for by changing the stamps and even the colors.
Fun Bagolope that Holds a Gift Card in the Front Pocket |
You just fold one of Stampin' Up!'s great kraft bags almost in half and then fold back the front to make a flap that will cover the seam of the back of the bag. Stamp it however you would like. Die-cut or punch out some stamped images (you can even cut them out by hand if they don't have any coordinating punches or die-cuts, GASP!)
Use some washi tape on the sides (half on the front, then the other half folded over to the back side to "seal" the bag closed on the folded sides. The front pocket becomes a perfect little space to tuck the recipients favorite gift card. The "inside" of the bag where you would usually put a treat, you can slide in a little notecard to wish your friend/loved one a happy holiday.
Card Taken out of the "bagolope" |
Here's the card taken out so you can see how simple it can be to make these even at the last minute. I know you never work that way, just like I never work that way. HAHA (Just kidding, it's more shocking if I'm not last minute with my projects.)
