Time for a little Peak!

Today at Sisters in Stamping we are giving you a little peak into the new Holiday Mini Catalog.  It makes it's big debut on Thursday, September 1, 2011.  If you don't have your copy yet, let me know and I can get one to you.  It's packed full of great new goodies to create with.  You won't want to miss out on it for a moment. But don't forget you still have a few days left of the Occasions Mini Catalog so there's still time to stock up on your favorites from it.  Plus, remember the great Buy 3 Get 1 FREE promotion of the Designer Series Paper will be ending on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 too.  It's a great way to get some of your favorite papers free.

Okay, now that business is out of the way, onto today's card.  It came together rather quickly but I'm loving the final look.  (Translation: great card for you to make if you don't have a lot of time but want to send Christmas cards)

Believe it or not, I used 4 new products (ones that are available only in the Holiday Mini Catalog) on this "simple, little" card.  The first is the Snow Burst Embossing Folder.  Remember, I think you need to have everyone one of these little babies.  They pack a lot of punch to any finished project with such ease and little expense.  The base of my card is baja breeze.  Then I cut a layer (1/4" smaller) of baja breeze and ran it through the big shot with the Snow Burst folder.  That layer is attached to the base using (none other than) dimensionals.

The second item I used the new hostess set Warmest of Wishes for the greeting on the lower right hand corner of the card.  That is stamped in baja breeze on very vanilla, layered on baja breeze cardstock and attached with dimesionals.

The third item was the very pretty 3/8" Very Vanilla Velvet Stitched Ribbon. Just cut a strip of it and attached it to the lower right of the card. This of course is done prior to placing the greeting on the card.

The fourth item I used is a little hard to see on the picture, but believe me it's there. It the new dazzling details . You ask, "what's that?" Well it's an iridescent glitter glue that will add dazzle to any project with NO mess! All you glitter haters, you can rejoice because now your projects will have pizzazz too.

See, just like I said, a pretty easy card to re-create.  Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping blog to see some other great projects using items from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
