Already Time to Say Goodbye?

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's time for another great blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen ladies. This month we are saying goodbye to some of our favorites. You have just about two weeks left to get your favorites from the retiring list. What are you waiting for? Remember, there are limited quantities and once they are gone, they are gone forever.  So order today.

I love the Sheltering Tree stamp set. The name is great too. Don't we all just want to be sheltered once in a while by a big old tree with a swing hanging from a large branch? There's just something so comforting by the thought of it. Perhaps, it's just the simpler times in life as a child. Who knows.

This stamp set is so fun to make cards with and they come together relatively quickly without too much effort. For this card, I placed the small cut white square of cardstock on the center of the front of the white rectangle and stamped the leaves stamp. Then I removed the square piece, stamped the trunk and swing and added two layers of cardstock, cherry cobbler and call me clover to mat the square and hid the space that is left when you stamp on two piece of cardstock placed on top of each other.

I added a little dash of grass to the bottom corner for a fun look and to take away from all the white space after I stamped the greeting.

This card can be made in a relatively short amount of time with minimal product so you can make a bunch of these even when you are on the go.

So, what's your favorite retiring stamp set that you will be sad to see go?

Also, don't forget to keep hopping through the blog hop to see more great cards using retiring stamps

Stamper's Dozen Color Challenge Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,\

Do you remember me? I know it's been way to long since I have posted here, but I was needed elsewhere the past few months. I'll explain in another post this week. For now, we are going to focus on the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop. I missed participating the past two month and am so happy to be back stamping. I didn't realize how much I missed creating until I put that stamp to ink to paper. It felt great to create something.

This month the we are using a color challenge to make our projects. I have so much fun with color challenges. Sometimes they are not colors I would ever pick to us on my own, but I love the finished creation. I will admit that I love this color combo, even when I first saw it. You know me, I love bright colors, especially the bright greens.

So what do you think of the combo? Isn't it great? It screams I'm ready for spring and summer. And I say bring it on.  I love how bright and cheery it is.

The saying is perfect for all of my friends that have reached out to me over the past few months. "Your kindness means so much more than you will ever know"
That's exactly how I feel about so many of my friends right now. They have constantly checked in on me to see if I needed anything or just to make sure I was okay. I'm so blessed to have so many great friends in my life. Many of them from my school year, which is pretty fantastic.

Don't forget to head over to the other blogs by clicking on the links below to see more awesome cards made using this great color combo. Thanks for stopping by. Stop again soon.

It may seem odd that we are Stamper's Dozen but there are only 5 of us this round. Don't worry we know we're missing a few. But just as I had to sit out for a few rounds, there are others that are dealing with life situations, both good and not so great. You know, injuries, passing of loved ones, busy with children, new jobs and the list goes on. There are still some great inspiration to be seen so don't miss this month's hop.

It's Time to Sale-a-brate! Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to another great blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen group. This month we are sharing with you some great ideas for Sale-a-bration offerings. Have you checked out the brochure yet? If not, what are you waiting for? You have from now through March 31 to get all of the stamps, ribbon, framelits and designer paper you want from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Remember, these items are FREE with a qualifying order.

I used the So Hoppy Together Stamp set. Isn't this little froggy cute? He has two other little friends that join him in the set. I love the little saying that I used on this card. "You can do Anything."  We all need that encouragement once in awhile. We need to remember that we can do anything we set our minds to. It may be a little hard work or some time, but with patience and perseverance it could be accomplished. I mean really, do you think this frog got up on a unicycle right away and was able to hold his crown with one hand?

I used the Happiness Blooms designer paper cut into strips for the background on this card. I love the colors and the bold, chunky designs in this paper.  The frog was colored with Stampin' Blends. The layering on this card is what really makes it look way more complicated ad detailed than it is. It really is a quick and easy card to make and put together. I always say, if your card looks like it is missing something, just add another layer. That usually does the trick.

Don't forget to keep hopping through the rest of the Stamper's Dozen members blogs for more fantastic ideas using the FREE Sale-a-bration items you can get now through March 31.

Even better, book a party for you and your guests and earn more hostess benefits than usual. Contact me today to schedule your fun girls night.

Just a Little Sneak Peak with the Stampers Dozen

Remember to Create!

Hello Stamping Friends,

I'm so excited about the upcoming Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-bration catalog that will both make their debuts in January. You may be getting one in your mailbox shortly. If you don't, let me know I'll get one out to you.  They are both packed with so many fantastic new stamps, papers, and accessories that you won't want to miss out on.

This month with the Stamper's Dozen we are giving you a little sneak peek at what is coming. I used a little something from both catalogs. The stamp set is from Sale-a-bration. Yep, you can get it FREE in January, February, and/or March with a qualifying order. I love, love, love cupcakes and was instantly drawn to this set. It is actually the first new stamp set that I created with.

The designer series paper is another must have if you ask me. The soft colors in this gingham paper are perfect for so many different occasions and especially great for Spring projects that you will want to create.

This is a rather simple card but it packs a lot of punch and anyone would love receiving this card for their special day.

Don't forget to keep hopping and check out the other blogs for some more sneak peeks. Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget, let me know if you don't get your own copy of the 2019 Occasions catalog or the 2019 Sale-a-bration catalog.
