Weekly Deals and Snuggles and Smooches

Hello Stamping Friends,

Just dropping by quickly to share with your this week's weekly deals and a brand new, hot off the press stamp set, Snuggles and Smooches. Don't forget these deals are good through Monday, December 15, 2014. Place your order online at my store or send me a message of what you would like.

Check them out. There are some fun items for this week's deals.

Look at the Snuggle and Smooches Stamp set, isn't it cute. I love the swirly scribbles. I see them as flowers. Stamp them in a darker color and use a lighter color and sponge dauber to "color" them in. Check out the blog posting on Stampin' Up!  to see what the concept artist had in mind when she created this set. She had something entirely different in mind for the swirls.

It's a Blooming Good Day

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Saturday to you. I really can't believe August is here already. Why, oh why, does the summer months fly right by us and the winter months drag on and on? I am going to make the most of this month and enjoy each and every day. I challenge you do to the same.

This is a card I created for a workshop for a great group of ladies. They always ask me to show certain products or projects and for this one they asked to see the photopolymer stamps. I love this new stamp set and think it's totally awesome there are framelits to match. You all know I love cutting things out for my cards, so the framelits are a great addition for me. I get to have cut out images with little effort on my end. Win-Win for me.

Each layer of each flower is stamped separately onto whisper white cardstock and then each one is cut using the coordinating framelits. Of course, each layer is attached together using (my favorite) dimensionals. You knew that already though, right? A card without dimension, needs no mention. (Haha, I just came up with that. I think it may just have to be my new motto)

I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to draw the squiggle lines around the card. I love how it brings the whole card together.

Don't forget about this month's Big Shot Promotion.

Let's Be Clear

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's Friday and it's feeling like Fall here in NEPA. Which is funny because the last few days have been some of the hottest of the summer (90's), so it's quite a switch to be in the 60's today. I know it may not feel like sailing weather here but I'm so excited about this card.  I really love how it turned out. Much better than what I had in my head. (haha) This week at Sisters in Stamping we are being "clear" with you. We are showcasing cards made using the Photopolymer stamps that Stampin' Up! now offers. They are completely clear stamps that you can see through when you are stamping which enables you to get perfect positioning.

Isn't it a great masculine card?  I know I always say I have a difficult time putting these cards together but I think I may be getting better. This came together fairly quick and I love, love, love the finished card.  Patriotic, masculine, clean-looking and just an overall great card to give to any special man in your life for his birthday.

There are several different photopolymer sets available so be sure to check them out in my store. And you will see a few of the other images from two different set over on the Sister in Stamping blog. So be sure to check them out.

New Photopolymer Set - Bombs Away

Hello Stamping Friends,

Stampin' Up! has released a new photopolymer set called Bombs Away Birthday. It is a fun set that is packed full of witty, wise-crack birthday comments. Who doesn't love a birthday card with some smart remarks?  Well, maybe the recipient might not find it as humorous as the giver but we all know that they truly are funny cards.  So now you can make your own witty cards.  Check it out.

Fun and fast. That's how I see this set.  I can't wait to start making some cards using this one. And I am especially anticipating the recipient's (whomever that may be) reaction to these fun cards.

Below is a look at the complete set. Be sure to read each sentiment. I'm sure they will make you chuckle as you read them (well, I did anyway).

Remember, you can order these through my online store or by letting me know.
