Memory Keeping Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

I am so excited to share with you this great little scrapbook (memory album) that you can make fairly easily using one of our Memories and More Card packs. It would even be a great gift to make and give someone of a special event. Imagine their surprise when they open it.

When it is closed, it is a cute, compact 6" x 6" book that won't take up a lot of room on the coffee table, but will leave a great impression on everyone who looks through it.

I call it a flip book because you keep flipping it open. It's quite impressive the first time you see one of these books.

Just keep flipping, left and right. And repeat.

Isn't it amazing. You can fit so many memories in this little book.

And we are still flipping.

Almost there, but not quite.

Not yet.

And now we are all the way open. Isn't it the neatest thing?

I love making these books because when you use of Memories and More pack and some coordinating designer series paper you end up with a beautiful little book that comes together with minimal supplies, time, and ease of assembling.

If you order the supplies to make this project from me, I will supply the complete tutorial on how it is made. Or if you place a minimum order of $40 before shipping and tax, I will send you this tutorial. You are going to love it.

Don't forget to keep hopping to see more great Memory Keeping ideas.

Stamper's Dozen Home Decor Blog Hop

Remember to Create!

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's time for another blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen group. This month the theme is home decor. You will sure be delighted with all the gift-giving possibilities  you will find as you hop along.

For my decor piece I selected to share this fun flip out memory book with you. The finished size is 6"x6". By using one of the memory and more card packs along with the coordinating designer series paper, this book will come together so quickly. It is so much fun to make as well.

Making these as gifts would be perfect. Imagine the recipients surprise when they open their gift and see that you filled it with precious memories of times you had together.

These next few pictures are of the inside as you flip it open. There's a surprise around every turn.

The self-adhesive die cuts in the memories and more pack make the perfect embellishments.

Look it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. And every level is different.

Isn't this fun?

The green flaps in the picture above flip open to reveal even more space to capture your memories (picture below).

And the final picture is deep inside the book. The lighthouse element is only attached to one side so it opens to reveal a few more spots to capture your story.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to keep hopping through for more great home decor ideas. If you would like the tutorial for this project all you need to do is place an order through me (www.rachelyurkanin.stampinup.net) and I will send it to you.
