Color Combo Challenge

Hello Stamping Friends,

I hope you had a joyous and wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. I was blessed to spend two full days with my husband, children, their significant others, and my grandson. The gifts were thoughtful and well appreciated by all, but the true blessing was being present in the moment with each of them.

Today is a sharing day with the Sisters in Stamping. This week we are sharing cards made with a color theme of highland heather, balmy blue, and pacific point. Great colors for a winter card.

I decided to use the party puffins to make a birthday card with this combo. I think it would be a good card for either male or female because of the color combo. And definitely great for a kid's birthday.

Isn't it cute. The two bottom puffins were stamped on scrap paper, cut out, and attached with dimensionals to add some depth to the card. You can stamp them on the paper and then just stamp the top part of the puffin with the party hat on scrap paper, cut out just the hat and then attach that to the card if you want to make it a tad easier.  If I were making a bunch of these cards, that's exactly what I would do.

I used the Stampin' Write markers to make some doodle borders around two of the three white pieces to finish the card off. Otherwise, it looks like it's missing something.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more inspiration using this color combination.
