Hello Stamping Friends,
It's Friday. It's September 14th, which means it's time for a great blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen Blog hop group. This month's theme is the Holiday Catalog but NOT Christmas. I used the adorable snowman set to make a card that can be used for Valentine's for just to give a loved one to let them know you are happy to have them around.
I love the soft colors of this card. Some blues and greens make it even sweeter. The Stampin' Blends are the perfect coloring tool for these snowman. I used the dark markers to color and it still wasn't too overpowering.
The blends I used are soft sea foam, mint macaron, balmy blue, lovely lipstick, crumb cake and calypso coral.
I know this sounds a bit morbid, but when I cut out the snowmen, I cut the arm on the right of the girl because first, I didn't want to fussy cut that and second I thought it was more balanced looking this way.
The new swirl background is awesome for this set too. I love how deep the swirls are. It really gives you the feeling of blowing snow.
I hope you enjoy this card and it inspires you to create some cards of your own.
