Welcome to another great blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen crew. This month we are sharing some great punched art projects with you. It's so much fun when you can use a punch in a new way that wasn't totally what the punch was intended for.
Hello Stamping Friends,
Happy middle of the week to you. Today is the 14th of the month and that means it's time for another great blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen Blog Hop group. This month the theme is punch art. I must admit at first I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I started browsing some cards that I had saved for later for ideas and I came across some Smurf punch art. I knew then that I was going to take that idea, alter it a bit and make it my own.
I remember waking up Saturday mornings as a child and watching the Smurfs. It was a weekend highlight. Then again, cartoons only aired on Saturdays, remember those days? Not like today, where they are on constantly. Heck, there's even channels dedicated just to kids cartoons. My how things have changed. Anyway, I digress so back to what you are really here for; some punched art on a card.
I choose to do Papa Smurf (he's in the red), Vanity Smurf (he has the flower in his hat. He usually holds a mirror too but I couldn't figure that out) and of course the only girl Smurf, Smurfette. My smurfs are ready to party and put on their happy face. So, what do you think? Can you guess the punches I used? Don't cheat and scroll down to see. Try to figure it out. Hint: there were 4 punches used.
