Fabulaous Friday Project

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday posting. This week the sisters over on the Sisters in Stamping blog decided to add some texture to their projects. We all used the texture plates somewhere on them. Be sure to head over to the blog to check out what the other sister's created. You will love them.

I used the pillow box die to cut crushed curry cardstock. I then texturized the box by using the large polka dot texture plate. I assembled the box and added a strip of pink designer series paper from the razzleberry lemondae pack.

The focal point was created by stamping one of the birds from Cheap Talk in Bermuda Bay, punching it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch, layering that onto 1 3/8" circle of crushed curry and then layering that onto a scallop circle punch in Bermuda Bay. To finish it off, I used the white gel pen to add some dots to the scallops to carry over the polka dot look from the textured box. And of course, I added some bling to it by adding some dazzling diamonds glitter to the white wing of the bird.

This is great for a party favor or to tuck some cash in for a gift for someone.

Hope you enjoy and remember to check back often for new projects.
