Red, White & Blue

Hello Stamping Friends,

So excited to share my projects with you today. Over at Sisters in Stamping our focus this week is any 3-D project. I made these adorable little boxes and couldn't wait to share them with you. They use two new big shot dies that are in the 2014-2015 Catalog, the fry box and the hamburger box. What a cute pair. There is even a stamp set in the catalog that would work very well with the set.

I made mine with a patriotic flair but seriously you can do so much with these box dies that would make them great for any special event you are planning. Of course, these patriotic boxes would be great for a 4th of July party.

I have always loved the fry box but it was a lot of work before now to make because you would have to copy/trace onto your cardstock, cut with scissors, score, fold, and then put it together. Now all you need to do is run it through your big shot, fold and use some adhesive. Definitely a huge time saver.

The hamburger box is adorable. It's smaller than a regular sandwich size from a fast food restaurant but I think it's the perfect size for a party favor. Again, you can decorate this with any theme to make it suitable for your occasion. It's pretty easy to put together, too, so that makes it awesome.

You will be seeing more creations using these dies, you can count on that.

Don't forget to head over to the Sisters in Stamping today to see more awesome 3-D projects.
