We are so excited here in the Yurkanin household. Summer has officially started as of about an hour ago. School is finally out! Yippee! Yahoo! Woohoo! and any other excitement words you can think of. It was a long school year. Now it's time for sleeping in, no homework, no routine or schedule, just fun, fun and more fun.
First, I need to share with you the challenge for Sisters in Stamping this week. We are doing a color challenge for you. Tempting turquoise, melon mambo, daffodil delight and whisper white. Hope you enjoy.
I made a fun summer birthday card. Great for all those parties where children will be the recipient. It gets even better once you open the card. Check it out below.
A pop-up of birthday presents. Isn't it great? Everyone loves fun, interactive cards. This one is pretty easy to do as well. You need to cut three strips of designer paper (1" x 2", 1"x 3", and 1" x 3 1/2"). Start with folding the inner part of the card (5 1/4" x 8 1/4").Fold the designer paper in half. Attach the strips of designer paper using snail adhesive starting with the bottom strip (which is the largest strip). Fold of designer paper on the fold of the whisper white paper. When you have all three strips on the white cardstock. You cut the to end of each strip. Fold to make them pop out. Attach the white cardstock to the base of the card.
