Stamparatus Technique Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today is Technique Tuesday and it's time for another great blog hop. The technique focus today is the Stamparatus. Have you used it yet? It's pretty awesome to line things up with ease when stamping; especially if you are stamping a bunch of the same thing that needs to be just so.

This card uses the Todays Tiles Stamp set. It's the perfect set to use the Stamparatus on because you need to line up the detail stamp with the block stamp.

I was so pleased with how this card turned out. It only uses three stamps, but the impact is great. I like the use of So Saffron ink and cardstock. It's subtle (no pun intended, lol). It really is a great thank you card to give to someone that means a lot to you and was there when you needed them.

So, the above picture is showing the tile stamp on the top plate of the Stamparatus after I stamped it and then the detail stamp lined up on the stamped tiles. (Word of caution: when using the magnets, DO NOT put them too close. They will cling together very quickly and may even break.)

This picture shows the detail stamp with black ink on it on the other Stamparatus plate and placed on top of the so saffron tiles that were previously stamped. It's so easy to use the Stamparatus with the grids on the plates and the base. You can line up anything you need to perfectly.

Also, notice I used the foam mat with the grid on the base of the Stamparatus because I was using a photopolymer stamp and you need that little extra cushion.

Don't forget to keep hopping and see even more great techniques using the Stamparatus.

  2. A brilliant tutorial, thank you. I love the stamparatus for how you can take your time to line things up and then pick the stamp up, ink it and stamp safe in the knowledge that even wobbly hands won't upset your image!
