Stamper's Dozen October Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's time for another great blog hop with the Stamper's Dozen. This month we are sharing cards or projects made using the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.  I used the coordinating stamp set as well on my card. This is a great card to give to all of your friends this Thanksgiving season to let them know how grateful you are for each of them.

I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper as background layer for this card. It is the layer beneath the stamped piece of whisper white cardstock. I stamped three flowers from the Painted Harvest stamp set in the corner of the white cardstock and then stamped the greeting in the open white space. I also stamped one sunflower on a scrap piece of white cardstock along with a few leaves, cut them out, added a few dimensionals and placed it over the other "flat" flowers to add the perfect amount of dimension to the finished card.

Then I stamped the heartfelt message inside and another flower in the corner to make the inside of the card almost as exciting as the outside.

Of course (because that's how this brain of mine works), I used the traditional colors for my card but I have seen many great cards made using all different colors and each one is awesome. So, go and try some of them yourself.

Don't forget to continue on the hop to the Bonnie's blog to see what great project she created. Click below.

  2. Thank you Sharon. I love cutting things out. I'd rather cut 100 flowers out than color them in.
