It's Friday already. Time certainly passes by so quickly anymore. You know when it's Friday that there is a great challenge from the Sisters in Stamping. Today's challenge was to use a window sheet in your project. You're not going to want to miss checking out the other Sister's projects this week.
I used a 5" x 10" piece of a window sheet to make this card. You score the 10" side at 5". Using a bone folder on this card makes it so much easier to get a crisp, clean score mark. Using the white staz-on ink you can stamp right onto the window sheet. Don't try it with whisper white craft pad. It will never dry. The staz-on pads are designed to dry on non-porous surfaces.
If you look closely you will see the tangerine tango and whisper white cardstock are actually attached to the inside of the card. The daffodil delight and watercolor wonder designer series paper is attached to the outside of the card. The flowers are stamped with whisper white craft ink and then punched out. Remember to "curl" the edges of your petals to give them more life. There are actually two of each color flower. They are held together with a dimensional. The pearl is the perfect finishing touch.
This is just a flat view of the card with it closed. These window sheet cards are so pretty and elegant to give for any special occasion.
Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more ideas using the window sheets.
