I'm back and ready to get stamping again. However, I do want to share with you some of our memories from the Hilton Head Island Getaway that I earned from Stampin' Up! It was a fabulous trip with lots of relaxation and rest on the agenda. It was great to just sit by the pool or on the beach and do NOTHING. It doesn't happen often but I sure know how to take advantage of it when it does.
We left last Thursday for our getaway. We had a delay from the start (that's our own fault, long story) so Don decided he would take a nap. There was only one other person besides us at the airport that early so he got to stretch out and use 4 chairs.
Then we encountered another long delay in Charlotte, so here I am showing you how excited I was to be sitting in that airport for an extended period of time. I promise it does get better. Hang in there and keep scrolling.
And finally, we have arrived. Yippee! We got to the room, got settled quickly and headed right out to the ocean. Our favorite place to be. Funny how calm the water is there versus in New Jersey. There were almost no waves.
Another view of the beach. This time in the day time with the umbrellas and chairs all set up waiting to be rented.
And here's a picture of the pool (and geez, look at that the ocean is right there in the background).
And there were butterflies all over the place. They were amazing. You would see a group of flowers and there would be at least a dozen butterflies flying around them. This is one of my favorite pictures I took of them. Let me tell you they are quick in flight so it isn't always easy to get a picture of them.
I've got more sharing with you of our trip. Tomorrow I'll share some of our adventures and then Saturday, I'll share the pillow gifts that were left each evening for us.
Again, it's all because of my faithful customers and awesome downline that I was able to achieve this goal and I thank each and every one of you. It was a great present that I was able to give my husband for our 17th anniversary which is this week. Thank you!
Congratulations, Rachel! So glad you had a relaxing time on your trip... I know how hard you worked to earn it. Hoping to be traveling with you to San Diego next Fall!
