Ultimate Pink Blog Hop

Hello Stamping Friends,

Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop. You will journey through different blogs to see a collection of creative ideas from Stampin' Up! demonstrators all over the world featuring all the different Stampin' Up! shades of pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I decided to join this hop in honor of a very good high school friend, Melissa, who can now say she is a one year survivor of breast cancer. Although I was worried and concerned for Melissa and her family (husband and 3 beautiful daughters) when she shared the news of her diagnosis last year, I had no doubts she would fight her way through. She was so strong and handled the entire situation with grace and dignity. When I talked to her throughout her treatments she always remained positive and upbeat. Breast cancer was NOT going to win and she made that clear. Melissa is such a beautiful person and I am glad to call her my friend.

I am so excited you joined in the hop and are here. To continue hopping, whether you've come from the person previous to me or after me on the list below all participants are listed to help you as you journey among us being filled with pink inspiration. With over 70 blogs, you are sure to find a great amount of inspiration. (If you are not a pink person, just change the colors and you will be good to go.  Wink, wink to a special stamper, who knows who she is.)

A great pick me up card for a friend whether it's an illness or another one of life's crazy struggles. Sometimes we all need to know that someone is there for us. We all can use a little pick me up from a friend from time to time.

This card is a pretty easy card to make. It's straight forward stamping. What makes this card so great is all the layers. I love layers. Usually when I find that I'm not loving a card if I add an extra layer or two that does the trick. Remember to continue hopping click on the person's name below mine on the list. You're not going to want to miss out on all of the great ideas.

If you are going through breast cancer treatments right now, stay strong we are all cheering you on. If you are a survivor like my friend, Melissa, kudos for kicking cancer. Most importantly whether you have a history or not, remember to do those self checks and get your mammograms.
