Happy Mother's Day

Hello Stamping Friends,

I hope you are all well this fine Friday. I know it's been raining a lot in these parts and we desperately need a little sunshine but hang in there, I know the sun will be shining bright soon. As you all know this weekend is a pretty big weekend for all moms out there, it's Mother's Day on Sunday. Do you have any thing planned or will it be a surprise? I know we will be headed out to dinner (I'm thinking, Kundla's, the outside BBQ because this is opening weekend for the season) and then of course we will be heading to a soccer game, thanks to Jonah and his travel team.

So whatever your plans are, I wish you a very Happy Mother's Day. Enjoy every moment with your kids, they grow way too fast. This week at Sister's in Stamping we are sharing Mother's Day cards with you, so if you still haven't sat down to make your special card we are here for some inspiration.

My card isn't the traditional Happy Mother's Day card. It's a thinking of you card. As many of you know, I lost my mom when I was 20 years old (almost 22 years ago) so I wanted a card that would make me think of my mom because I couldn't send it to her. I haven't figured out her address. It's top secret until I get there myself one day. I thought this was the perfect card that would make me think of her. Very serene.  Of course, this same card can be used for  a lot of other occasions as well.

This is also a quick card to make, jut stamp and assemble. So you can make a lot of these cards in a short amount of time making it a great card to make a set of 4 or 8 to give as a gift.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more Mother's Day inspiration. Again, I wish you a very Happy Mother's Day with your loved ones. Enjoy your day!
