A Cheery Birthday Wish

Hello Stamping Friends,

Another Friday is here. Why is Friday the best day of the week? This week at Sisters in Stamping we are sharing more new stamp sets with all of  you. I decided to share with you this card using Watercolor Words. I really like this stamp set, there are great watercolor looking greetings along with several images that will make quick but great looking cards. Isn't that what everyone wants?

To achieve this center oval I used one of the oval framelits to cut an oval to use as a mask. I placed the oval onto the very vanilla cardstock and stamped around the cardstock. This is a great way to achieve the look of layers without actually adding the bulk of layers.

I also stamped a couple of the flowers on scrap paper and cut them out to layer them onto the front of the card. Of course, I added some dazzling diamonds to make it that much better. You know I love my glitter.

Using this stamp set but changing the three colors, the image and the greeting you will achieve a whole new looking card. Why reinvent the wheel?

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for more peaks at new stamp sets.

Celebration Time and Some Savings for You

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Last night was a great night for us. Noah graduated from high school. I don't know where the time went but it really happened and we couldn't be prouder of him. Here's a few pictures of last night.

Mom and Dad with the new graduate and mom giving her "little" boy
a kiss as he of course rolls his eyes but is accepting.

Noah and his suave little brother and punk Papa. My dad is too much.
I love my crazy family. We always have a lot of fun, even when I'm rolling my eyes
because they are too much. My dad was so sweet and bought me flowers for last night.
He said because I did a great job raising Noah. It brought a tear to my eye. Thanks Dad.

Now onto the savings for you. For the next 3 days any order placed will receive a savings. How awesome is that? Pretty great, I think.  So here are all the details:

In Colors Make Their Debut

Hello Stamping Friends,

Today is a great day at the Yurkanin house. My oldest son, Noah, is graduating high school. Although, I'm sad my baby is growing up, I'm so excited for him and the bright future ahead of him. I'll share some pictures tomorrow.

Today with the Sisters in Stamping we are sharing the new in colors. I made a notecard using two of the new in colors, cucumber crush and delightful dijon. I love the note book paper background stamp. I will be using it a lot, I promise.

These notecards would be great to make for some teachers for back to school gifts. You can even get started making them now and not rush when school begins. All you would need to wait for is to see which teacher you will be making them for so you can stamp the letter. The rest can be done.

Here's a bookmark that uses all of the in colors.
H - cucumber crush
E - Delightful Dijon
L - Watermelon Wonder
L - Tip Top Taupe
O - Mint Macaron

Don't forget to stop on over at Sisters in Stamping to see some other projects with the in colors.
