The Celebration Continues

Hello Stamping Friends,

Happy Friday to you. Any great plans this weekend? We have a busy soccer weekend ahead of us, as usual. So glad it's indoor soccer right now. Way too cold to be outside watching anything right now. I suppose the typical deep freeze of January is upon us (like it always is) and we are all just waiting to get through to the Spring.

However, we'll find something to celebrate anyway. A birthday is always time for celebrations. This card would be a perfect card to set a festive mood to any birthday celebration. It's also a great card that fits this week's Sister in Stamping challenge to use one of the awesome new Designer Series Paper in Occasions Catalog. I absolutely love the Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper. It has two sheets with gold foil that is part of the design. The confetti strip in the middle of the card is one design with the gold foil.

This birthday card was a card everyone made that came to the Occasions Catalog Sneak Peek party earlier this month. Were you one of the lucky ones that got to make it? If not, hope you'll be able to make the next party. They are a lot of fun! Just sayin'.

There's a lot of fun stuff going on with this card. Layers, layers and layers, shiny paper, texture, dimension, and sparkly sequins. Who wouldn't want to receive this fun birthday card to help celebrate a birthday? What makes this card even better is that it is great for a guy because of the colors. I'm telling you, it just keeps getting better and better.

Don't forget to head over to Sisters in Stamping for even more great ideas using the Occasions catalog Designer Series Paper.
