A New Kind of Challenge

Hello Stamping Friends,

It's Fabulous Friday again. I know you all can't wait for Friday and I'm going to pretend it's all because of the Fabulous Friday Sisters in Stamping challenges. You don't need to tell me otherwise, I won't believe you anyway.

This week at Sisters in Stamping we are doing something we have never done before. We are using a card sketch as our design basis. So it's going to be really neat to see what the other sisters do with the same sketch that I used.  You're not going to want to miss it, so head on over.

So here is the sketch. Pretty easy, right?  Well, I thought it was going to be until I needed to use it. However, I'm pretty happy with the end result. I even used the card as part of my Stamp-a-Stash class last night.  Each of the ladies there said it was their favorite card for the night. Don't worry I'll show you the other two, just be sure to come back to see them.

And here is the card I made based on the sketch.  What do you think?  I actually had a request to make sympathy cards for last night's class so this fit the challenge for today and the request for last night.  I'm all about "killing two birds with one stone."

I like the finished look, a soft, sincere sympathy card that will tell the recipient that you are certainly thinking of them during their difficult times of missing a loved one.

Don't forget, you WANT to check out the Sisters in Stamping blog for more ideas using this sketch. It's fun to see how different the cards turn out when we are all using the same layout.
