Black Friday Gifts from the Comfort of your Home

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hope you had a Blessed Thanksgiving Day with your family yesterday.  And if you were one of those people waiting in lines for awesome Black Friday deals, hope you got what you wanted and are now home resting.  This week at Sisters in Stamping we have a few of our own Black Friday gifts for you to make from the Comfort of your Home.  No lines, no missing out on that great deal, just great gifts that you can make yourself this holiday season.

I made this adorable little keychains using the Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper, On Board (chipboard) Sheets, Tombo Multipurpose Adhesive, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, the butterfly die for the big shot and the Crop-a-dile.  See not too many products so that means they really are easy to make.  You can make a bunch of these in no time at all.

Step 1: Cut On Board sheets to fit the two whole butterflies on the die (you can't make these using the half butterflies because the chipboard won't fold in half).

Step 2:  Cut Designer Series Paper to the same size as the chipboard.

Step 3: Using tombo multipurpose adhesive, glue the DSP to the chipboard.

Step 4: Die cut the butterflies using the Big Shot.

Step 5: Glue the smaller butterfly to the center of the larger butterfly.

Step 6: Punch hole in top of wing using Crop-a-dile

Step 7: Cover the entire surface of the butterfly with Crystal Effects (not too much because it will run off).

Step 8: Sprinkle some Dazzling Diamonds over entire butterfly to make it sparkle.

Step 9: After you let if dry for several hours, put a ball and chain keychain through the hole and your gift if finished.

As you can see, I used all the different papers that come in the Pocketful of Posies pack to make them all individual.  It's so easy to make many of these at one time.  Just glue all the different papers on, cut out the butterflies, and then arrange them to your liking (don't glue until you are finished cutting all of them, just in case you want to switch some around).

These would make great teachers gifts, co-workers, Sunday School teachers, neighbors or for anyone else you want to give a little gift to but don't want to or simply can't afford to spend too much money.  It certainly a gift from the heart.

The keychain can be used just as that or put it on a bag to make it a little more unique.

Don't forget to check out the Sisters in Stamping blog for even more hand made gifts that you can make for your family and friends this holiday season.
